"Charlotte?" Susan Hawk looked at the somewhat lost-in-thought Charlotte Cooper and couldn't help but call out to her a few times.
"It's alright, but I'm afraid it won't pass the censorship." She said in a bland tone.
"I've thought about that, but all stories are the same. We can just have the scriptwriter make some changes, and it should be fine once it's censor-proof." Lucas Carter explained.
"The key is, what do you think of this story?"
Charlotte didn't speak. She felt that Lucas's investment in this drama seemed to carry ulterior motives.
"This matter is mainly under Mr. Carter's responsibility. The reason we came today is to probe your intentions; the final decision still lies with Mr. Carter." Susan saw the atmosphere was a bit awkward and spoke up.
"Of course, your company is one that I've always wanted to work with, and I'm willing to wait for your response."
After Lucas finished speaking, he ordered the dishes, and soon the whole table was full of food.
