Capítulo 6: Golden Abyss
The continent Parallel Atlantus is called Golden Abyss. The name Parallel Atlantus has long been forgotten once the name Golden Abyss came into existence.
According to the legend, the name Golden Abyss came into existence only six hundred years ago.
Atlantus is a large continent with humans, demons, spirits, beasts and many different creatures. They peacefully coexisted with each other. There were even half breeds among the species. The concept of being a knight was adopted from the beasts as they use the natural essence of energy to strengthen their body and the concept of being a mage was adopted from the demons as they are good mages who bend the elements of nature according to their will. If there is an art adopted from other species is unknown.
It was due to the greed of humans for power, the demonic beasts, devils and monsters were hunted. But they didn't know that they killed the sole heir of the devil's throne the dark abyss. As the king and queen of devils heard upon their son's death enraged and hunted humans, spirits, demons and beasts. As if they want to wipe the whole continent. The strength of the devil is fear. The Atlantus is also called Acardia. The parallel Acardia or parallel Atlantus is called the golden abyss as the devil's throne in this parallel world is now ruled by a golden star spirit.
As by realizing from this legend, Cian is shocked that it is said that the half breeds of humans and other species have the body of humans but have the potential of the other species.
"Are you a half-breed?" it is true that Cian is shocked but he is curious.
"Ooh, you found my identity" the old man laughed.
"Aren't you afraid that I would turn you down?" he said so because even after many years passed humans belittled the other species and stood at the top of the food chain. If he turned was turned down by Cian the villagers will burn him alive.

Cian was stunned but the old man continued "If you want to learn bending, then you are a fool"
Of course, he's a fool because bending is an innate ability that needs a huge amount of willpower just to start it. It is an ability naturally gifted to demons.
The old man continued "But I will tell you how I walk without my eyes as I promised"
The young man nearing the age of fourteen had a big smile on his face but a pity the old man cannot see it because he is blind.

The old man said "As you know I am an earth bender, benders can guide their element as they wish, in my case I will make use of my ability to 'listen to the earth and guide it'. As I listen to the earth all the moments around me will not be able to get away from my sight because my eye is the land where I am standing".
Cian was astonished and stared at the old man. The old man thanked Cian for his meal and went on his way.
'I should have to try it when I have some time' said to himself not realizing that the old man is long gone. When he came into reality he saw that the rock moved by the old man is at the position where it was before the rock was moved by the old man.
'Is it a hallucination? Am I daydreaming? Am I too sad and made myself sick?' numerous thoughts piled up in his thoughts. And suddenly...
