"Let me ask you one more time, are you really going to become the student of a human that is younger than you, a human!"
After reading so many other isekais, Taiga had already known that usually, elves hate humans and vice versa. He was actually surprised when he learned from Sister Christina's lectures that elves in this world view humans as lowly degenerate beasts that they didn't even see 10 levels below them.
"Stop asking me the same question over and over" she said as she gritted her teeth, "I told you that I need to become stronger and you are definitely strong, being able to kill 4 higher elves in such a short amount of time is no easy task, it could be even considered impossible for mere humans, much less a blind human boy. You are definitely not a normal human boy."
"Fine, fine, if you don't mind me asking, but what is my disciple's name?" he asked in a mocking tone.
"It's Luyra, Master" she said as she bowed respectfully, relieved that he had accepted to teach her as he was her only hope in getting stronger."
Sensing her desperation he decided to take a peek at her stats to see if it would be worthwhile to train her.

'Mmm... her skills are really impressive, considering that she was considered the weakest in her village, I guess that they just didn't see her full potential'
"Do you know how to use a bow?" asked Taiga as he knew that that was the second best weapon for her to learn with her skills.
"Yes, but just barely" she replied bitterly as she thought that Taiga, like all humans, thought that every elf knew how to use a bow, which was one of the elves' most hated misconceptions.
"Okay, I'll teach you" he said not even touching on the subject which surprised her.
"Even though you are probably more than 25 years old, you still have the body of a little girl, so I'll make you a smaller bow that is more fitted for your body"
He then proceeded to cut off an Ein branch and then molding it with holy magic, healing it in a way that shaped it into a sturdy bow, and then made a permanent string out of wind magic, so that it looked like a walking stick, but if you placed your hands in the right place and then nocked an arrow, the string made out of wind magic would appear.
After he finished the bow, he handed it to her and proceeded to teach her the basics of using a bow, as it was a weapon that he was familiar with back on earth, as it wasn't as loud as a gun and was a much better weapon for quiet assassinations.
He then trained her for a little bit in hand to hand combat and then returned back to the orphanage for the day.
After a few days, Taiga eventually fell into a rhythm, He first woke up early in the morning to make food for the other children with Raia, then he would meet Luyra at the edge of the forest at sunrise, he would then teach her throughout the day, giving her pointers and making her practice while he cultivated his magic further, and then he returned to the orphanage at the end of the day studying and teaching Raia about math and the sciences, especially human anatomy, as that would help her understand her holy magic better.
Before he knew it, another year had already passed and Luyra was now able to hit a target more than a mile away 9 out of 10 times, surpassing Taiga.
"Ahh, the disciple has finally surpassed the master" said Taiga with a bitter smile on his face.
"For your final examination, I want you to hunt me, if you are able to stick an arrow into me, I'll consider you a student no more"
At the time, even though Luyra was happy that she was not weak anymore, it was still bittersweet as she was really thankful to Taiga as he was the one that brought her this far. She was also surprised at how Taiga sounded, as he said it in a tone that seemed as if he had lived hundreds of years.
"The rules are simple, if you can shoot me with an arrow in less than 2 days, you will have won and passed the test."
"We will be starting, NOW!"
His quick announcement had surprised her and as such she was unable to move for a second, but to her surprise, Taiga just stood there not moving.
She immediately nocked an arrow and fired at him, but he caught it out of the air.
"You didn't think it was that easy did you" he said in a mocking tone.
Saying nothing, she gritted her teeth and started firing arrows at a super fast pace. Almost seemingly in a blur, she had used all 500 of her arrows and Taiga still looked unharmed. She then starting thinking of a plan, as she could already tell that he was making the challenge easier by just staying in that one spot.
She decided to wait until night time, because she knew that she needed to make more arrows, and she also thought that Taiga's senses would dull at night time as he was still a child and needed the sleep. She didn't dare think that his senses would be dulled by the darkness as she knew that he did not see her, but sensed her and her arrows through the vibrations in the ground and the air.
Before night had arrived, she had already succeeded in making 300 arrows and started planning an ambush.
