Akira raised a brow, "Release you? And how will you benefit me, if I were to release you?" He asked, intrigued.
"Ooh? So you're considering it? Very well. If you release me from this impenetrable seal, I shall reward you accordingly. Tell me what you desire my dear." Yatan said, with a white smile appearing on his shadowy face.
"Surprise me, with a god-like proposition." Akira responded.
"Heh~! Very well then, I shall become your subordinate!" Yatan said with full certainty and determination.
"..." Akira did not say a thing and let him elaborate further.
"You see I heard you earlier talking about your need for subordinates in this virtual world or whatever, and if you were to have me as right hand, I assure you you wouldn't need anyone else.
You and I are pretty alike if you give it some thoughts... We both wanna see the worlds burn.
Whether you consider this world to be real or not that I do not care about, but to me, this world has been source of disgust and filth for a long time and that I cannot permit.
As long as we have the same objective, I do not mind to be subordinated by you, Lord Nox." Yatan explained.
'...Damn... Is this world really just a virtual world, or is it a far projection to a real universe...These NPCs seem to be conscious of their existence enough.' Akira said innerly.
"Also, I wouldn't mind courting you to some of my daughters, haha. Something tells me you're gonna love the vampire one, haha." Yatan adds, alas, Akira didn't need his help to obtain what he desired.
Well, ignoring his last proposition, Akira decided to accept Yatan's deal of subordination.
"Deal." He said. Then immediately after, the portal grew larger and larger in size until it was big enough to fit the God and let him cross over to the Overgeared Dimension.
As Yatan walked through the portal, the atmosphere around them tensed and the entire structure was starting to crumble to piece, the destruction and demolition was like a Requiem. A Requiem signaling the return of a calamitous creature to the world of Man.
"Freedom! Finally free after eons in the void! Hahahahaha!!!" Yatan laughed, the Temple was entirely submerged and only Akira and Yatan were left standing on those rubbles, face to face, making eye contact.
"Haha. I can already feel the desire to serve you infesting my very being. You psycho,byou completed the contract regardless of what I had to say, hehe. What a fascinating god you are, it seems like not even my boundless resistance has an effect on you. Remarkable, haha." Yatan exclaimed.
Now more visible, Yatan is a tall humanoid creature reassembling a human but only appearance wise, he's got long blue hair as well as red crimson eyes darker than any devil's. He also wore armor that didn't corrode even after all the time spent in the void.
"You talk a lot for someone who got sealed by a goddess. Less talking and more action if you may." Akira ordered.
Faced with his first order, Yatan found no way out of Akira's deadly emprise. In the next moment, Yatan kneeled before Akira. But as soon as Yatan kneeled, his old rusty but still functioning senses detected the presence of adventurers, two adventurers hiding in a nearby bush and observing the two.
"My Liege, it seems like we're been observed. Let me take care of them." He said, coldly.
Akira chuckled, "Hahaha! There's no need to, everyone's gonna die so why rush it. In fact, I guess we should inform the entire world about the little catastrophe building up." Akira said playfully.
"What are you thinking about my Liege?" Yatan asked.
"Um... Nothing serious really, haha, just a little message so everyone knows what's coming their way!" Akira replied. The next moment, he summoned his holographic control center and created an event in the game.
Usually, when a new event is announced there's a small icon that appears in the border of the screen of players announcing a new event to take place. And that is what's happening right now, Akira created an event and sent it to every player in the game, even the NPCs gained consciousness about the existence and inevitable upcoming of this event.
In the bush, the two adventurers were discussing what to do now, these two people were the leader of the Tzedakha Guild, Jishuka, and one of her most trusted friends, Regas. The two just happened to hear the loud crumbling of the Yatan Temple and came to investigate what was happening.
"...This doesn't look good. This doesn't look good in the slightest." Regas said.
Jishuka didn't know what to do at the moment. Seeing that powerful god kneel before that NPC was no good, it only meant that he's most powerful than the last, logically. Since it's only hers and Regas, attacking wasn't a good option.
"I say we leave for now. We don't have much information nor the manpower or equipements to take them down. We must go back to the guild base and equip ourselves. Man I hope Grid can make anti-god weapons..." Jishuka expressed.
Regas responded with a smile, "Tch~ it's true that he's a miracle maker... But for now, let's go before they see us." He said.
Then, Regas and Jishuka quickly left the scene before they unnerve Akira or Yatan. But during their escape, they both received a notification simultaneously...
...Not just them, but everyone in the Game.
