Capítulo 18: Chapter Eighteen: Student Councils
"So many failed to make it in time." Florian looks around, and there are plenty of students who did not make it past the yellow lane. It formed a thin wall like what they have when they receive their power.
It was thin yet it was powerful that no one manage to get inside as they were all banging the wall.
"I never seen a microphone, yet the voice echoes all over the place." Florian placed his eyes on Klien and nod as he agreed on what he says.
"Oh? That's her power." Both Florian and Klien look at Taehyun.
"You mean her voice?" Florian asked.
Taehyun nod his head. "Yes, she's a president of student council and her power is her voice, it can reach up to 3km." Florian gasp in awe while Klien was blinking his eyes as both of them are to astound.
The president who's at the center. From where they are standing, they can clearly see how bright her red hair is. It was shining. The tip of her hair has a hint of maroon or darker shade of red that gives a unique look on her. It even has this fierce looks and eyes and has freckles on her cheeks and nose.
"3km? That is really wide," all Florian can comment.
"Yeah, and that one." Taehyun pointed his index finger at the girl next to the president. "She's the one who can control time." He said. They drop their eyes on the girl that Taehyun is pointing.
She owns a black straight up to waist hair that gives off an innocent look. It was also the smallest among their group. They aren't sure but there is a possibility that the girl is the same age as them as its face looks younger than the rest, or maybe she just looks younger than her age.
"And him," he pointed to a guy on the right side of the president, "he can hear everything around 1km." They followed where Taehyun pointed his fingers.
It was a one tall dude. He must be the tallest among them, as they can really see how tall he is. His hair is brown, and he has the normal, typical look of the guy who's ready to punch everyone who gets in his way. It even has scars on its temple and its cheekbone. It gives off the swag of a typical bully.
"So he can hear us right now?" Klien asked Taehyun. Taehyun drops his hand before sighing. "Yes, he can."
"Did he also heard that you are byuntae?" Florian asked seriously, like he wasn't teasing Taehyun at all and he was just asking a normal question.
"I am not!" Taehyun said as the two mocked the way Taehyun denied.
"Do also have someone who has great eyesight?" Florian asked as his eyes are roaming on the students who's standing on a straight horizontal line. All of them stand normally, yet they all are so intimidating to be with.
You can already tell that they are way above an ordinary student.
"How did you know? Did you research about them?" Taehyun asked.
Florian shakes his head as his eyes are still observing how elegantly they all stand. "No, just a guess. They have?" He asked. His eyes are focused on every little thing about students' council until he drops his eyes to someone.
He's been feeling it since earlier, about how a single pair of eyes never leave its eyes on him. It was observing him so deeply, like it needed something, like a predator waiting for its prey.
As soon as he stares back at the one pairs of silver-colored eyes, it quickly shifts its eyes and releases its stare on him. It was observing him and she was totally obvious that she was caught off guard.
"They have."
"What is that? Are they like a team who has five senses?" Klien asked Taehyun. Taehyun shrug his shoulder as he was not sure as well. But from what he always heard, they are the strongest group that was ever formed in this school.
As they all have the most important power, even some are weak and just support, all of them, when combined, are strong. That the founder Michelle actually believes in the power they hold.
"You might miss but that guy on the other side on the left has a splendid vision. He can see in the dark and he can see long distance," Taehyun said. They all look at the guy that Taehyun is pointing next.
He's the most normal and trustworthy among all the student council. Florian do not want to judge but if he needed a help he was more likely to ask that guy. He looks way more normal among all the student council.
"And that..." Taehyun said as he switch his finger to point at someone, but get interrupted when Florian holds his arms to stop him and make it drop on the floor.
"No need, I know him," Florian said. The two look at him as they both wanted an answer on how he knows the last person they hadn't mentioned yet.
"You know?" Klien asked as his eyes gives a suspicious looks.
"Yeah, he's my older brother."
"No way," both of them answered. They could not believe what they just heard. They look back and forth to Florian and the student council and they see nothing alike. How can they just believe that he and Florian are brothers?
"He really is my brother. He's Davient Gray, who has a power of illusion. Making it look realistic and terrifying." Taehyun quickly agreed and even make a thumbs up.
He knows how terrifying Davient's power is as he once becomes under its power.
"To all the students who failed to make it on time, please stand beside the training ground and form a line. You will be saved by Davient's power but will face more punishment and students with the lowest grades will join you this training." The president even look at them like she wanted to kill them all.
"The punishment is the dungeon."
