Capítulo 14: Chapter Fourteen: White Room
Florian roams his eyes on the room. There is nothing inside. Just a plain white paint, coating the four corners of the room. The moment he laid his feet inside, the door where he enters automatically shut itself and become part of the wall. He might even forget where the door is and might get trapped inside.
He continued to roam his eyes and find something different aside from all white and almost invisible corners.
"Welcome!" Florian almost lost his heart when he hear a sudden high pitch sound of a woman's voice. He looked through the front - to what he thinks - where the door he enters is located.
"Please step backwards." Florian quickly followed the command. He was not sure where the voice came from, but he was sure that it uses magic.
"A huge crystal will be placed at the center of the room," the woman's voice said. Seconds after waiting, a white crystal surface from below the ground.
The white crystal is so clear that Florian can clearly see his reflection and see the wall behind the crystal. He can already tell how smooth its surface is, based on how it shines whenever the light hits the crystal.
"Please place your hand on top of the crystal." When the command echoes in the room, with no issue, Florian place his hand on the crystal.
He smiles at how soft it is, like he was just placing his hand on top of water. His smile fades as the crystal shakes. The woman's voice that was calmly talking earlier starts talking gibberish.
"Why is it shaking? Is this safe? Did we make mistake? Can it be that the crystal can't handle the boy's power? Is it broken? Ahhh, will I lose my job?" The longer the woman talks, the higher her pitch become.
Florian can feel how his entire arms shake that was being shaken by the crystal. He tried removing his hand that he placed on the crystal, but he can't. It was like his hand become glued to the surface of the crystal.
He starts getting afraid, from the shaken crystal, his hand that can not be released from the surface of the crystal and how panic the high pitch woman's voice that keeps on echoing in his head.
His arms start to feel numb while his hand starts to heat up. He tried using his other hand to help release his hand, but nothing happens. It can not be removed despite how much strength he did.
"Ahhhh!" When the woman's voice shout loudly, that almost makes Florian's ear bleed and make him shut his eyes and cover his ears. Using his other hand on his ear and placing his ear to his shoulder.
As the woman's voice continues, the shaken crystal starts to tremble slower than earlier until it stops. Florian's hand are remove without him pulling his arm. He felt how numb his arm as he can not feel how it drop.
He placed his hand on his numb arms as he was slightly squishing his arm. He really can't feel his arms at the moment.
"Sorry about that! We do not know what happens!" Florian just nod his head while he was looking at the ceiling before dropping his eyes again on the crystal.
From the white crystal, the crystal becomes light red - a pink. The inside of the crystal was like a smoke get trapped inside. The longer he looks at it, the brighter the pink becomes.
"That's his power?" He heard the woman's voice asked as if it was talking to another person, "Really? A pink? Ouch!" A loud bang echoes in the room. He was not sure what happen, but it seems like the high pitch woman receive a heavy strike on her head.
"It is colored pink. You think I'm blind? Oh, it's red? I see." Despite Florian's worry about his numb arm, he felt entertain by the woman.
"Florian Gray, red power. Lived in Kasidrem town. 10 years old, room 804." Most of what the woman said is right, expect the town he lived in, he lived in this town, in Gyrendo.
"I live in this town, Gyrendo, not in another town." Florian said.
"Oh? Okay, Florian Gray lived in Kasidrem." Florian was shock on how the woman's voice did not take his answer. He was not even sure where that town was or how did the woman think that he lived there.
"Please take your stuffs from the table." A table rise behind the crystal. He took a turn and passed by the crystal to get near the table. A white table with a white cloth on top, a paper, a rectangular shape with lace that looks like his I.D. and a random box.
"Take it, and leave the room. We place your class and dorm number on the paper. Thank you." The woman's voice fades and the crystal starts to come back from how it was earlier, a transparent white crystal.
He has no choice but to grab all of his stuff using only his other hand. He tried to get a hold on all of it despite how heavy the random box was. When he can feel like he can hold on to his stuffs in a long term, he then decided to leave the room.
The door automatically opens for him. He did not expect it, but Klien was waiting on him outside his room. He's holding the same stuff he is holding.
"What class are you?" Klien asked. Florian shrug his shoulder, "Haven't checked it yet." He answered.
"Can I see?" When Florian nod, Klien looks at Florian's paper.
"We have the same class and dorm room!" Florian can see how happy Klien is. He even jumps. He really finds Klien so cute whenever his body bounces on his every jump.
"We must be fated!" Florian shook his head as a disagreement. He steps his feet forward to get inside his dorm first, then to his class. He needs to drop his stuff or his other arm will feel numb as well. The random box really is heavy.
Klien took the lead to find and enter the dorm. Klien land his hand on the doorknob and without a knock he opens the door. Both of them are shock on what they just see. They could not believe it to the point that they have to blink their eyes twice just to be sure that they are just mistaken.
That... they really see a smooth butt of a man.
