He started choking her.

Abe went in front of them and pulled him off her.

Alora started gapping for air. Sweat was covering her forehead.

Ayla's eyes filled up with tears.

She knew what her father did was terrible yet at the same time she couldn't bring herself to hate him.

It's was way too hard for her to hate her parent. And she always had mix feelings about her father.

One moment she would feel angry because he would do wrong things and then she would feel pity for him when she would notice how lonely he actually was.

Sometimes she would just want to give him a warm hug but her father never gave her a chance to.

Right before her eyes, Abe was mercilessly beating him yet she couldn't bring herself to stop him.

Her heart wanted her to jump over Abe and tear him apart from her father. Then hug her father, to tell him that she was there for him, to tell him that she loved him either way.
