It doesn't mean that he will become a puppet of Yang Kai but it would mean that Yang Kai could directly obliterate his soul if he wanted to.

Yang Kai squinted his eyes when he saw 2 girls following right behind him carrying a plate full of wild fruits.
They were Zi Mo and Tang Shen!
They both came in front of him and gazed at his malnourished half-corpse body when a look of hesitation appeared on their faces.
Yang Kai could see that they had already grown stronger than they were 15 days ago. He saw their hesitation but didn't say anything.
In the end both the girls ended up leaving the cave right after keeping a large number of wild fruits before Yang Kai.
Yang Kai smiled which looked more hideous than a frown in his current state before jumping on the food.
At this point, he didn't even care about its taste and gobbled everything up like a hungry beggar.

"Haa!" After finishing his meal, Yang Kai finally exhaled and looked at Old Demon.
"Looking at Young Master's smile, this demon can guess that he has already achieved what he set out to do." Old Demon praised heartily
Yang Kai just nodded in response as he started thinking about the 'Immoral Taiji Secret Art'. He after all couldn't increase his cultivation cultivating the path of Dao and if he started to cultivate based on the path of Wudao then it would mean shattering his normal cultivation base.
In normal conditions, this might not be a problem but Yang Kai was currently undergoing a trial that was supposed to be undergone by True Foundation Cultivator only. He was barely qualified earlier with his strength that could leap bounds.
But, if he directly shatters his cultivation then it would be more like delivering food into tiger's mouth.
Unfortunately, he didn't even have a choice. He had to shatter his cultivation base.
"So be it" Yang Kai sighed
"Old Demon!" He commanded
"Yes young master" Old Demon responded in an equally serious tone

True Yang Secret Art was a very high-grade cultivation art. In that, once the user generates a certain amount of Pure Yang Qi in his body, that Yang Qi will be condensed into a liquid and enter one's dantian.
Demon Art of assimilation on the other hand was also a high-grade cultivation art. In that, the user can utilize a certain part of the opponent's blood, resentment, and corpse Qi to generate a highly pure amount of demonic essence cultivated by the user. The best and worst part of this technique is that it can give the user a large amount of strength in a short amount of time.
It is called as a demon technique because most of the users like to kill innocents and use their resentments and corpse Qi to cultivate. In theory, beast blood can also be used to cultivate this technique but humans have more intelligence leading to more resentments. Repeated killings make the user numb to human emotions at a later stage which will then make the user consider humans as nothing but their cauldrons.
'Immoral Taiji Secret Art' is something created by using the plus points of both techniques. The Pure Yang Qi and the demonic essence which can also be called as the Yin Qi will individually get condensed into liquid and fall into Yang Kai's dantian. This will reduce all the disadvantages of demonic cultivation which may be caused due to the presence of yin Qi in one body as the Yin Qi directly falls into the dantian and not the body.
This Secret Art allows the user to cultivate using blood and resentments of animals as well as humans which allows the user to achieve success in short time span.
Yang Kai opened his eyes after 15 minutes. He had finished calming his mind to an unattainable level.
Turning his gave towards the entrance, Yang Kai found a freshly killed 5th Grade Beast which is equivalent to a True Foundation Stage cultivator.
Yang Kai indifferently walked towards the killed spider beast who was still bleeding due to fresh-cut and took a deep breath before starting the Immoral Taiji Secret Art and shattering his current cultivation base…
