Capítulo 90: Check Up On Her

The next couple of days passed by with boredom for Valerie, but she didn't mind the state of peace she was at. Lucian and his family visited her couple of times. As much as Lucian expressed his desire to stay with her, he was an actor with a busy schedule.

The time he could give her was limited.

While Valerie was disappointed, at least being away from Lucian gave her mind the opportunity to stay clear and not get swayed by ideas.

There was one more thing that bugged her greatly, and it had to do with Leslie. She found it being frustrating. It seemed that her friend had left a larger imprint in her mind than she anticipated.

The only thing to keep her busy was the physiotherapy.

On one fine afternoon, Evelyn as skimming through the book in her hand when the door to her ward was slowly pushed open. This got her to shift her attention from the book and look up.
