I continued to run as Hel took over my body, allowing my subconscious to float away. 

The sensation was like falling into darkness, but my assumption that it was a temporary state was wrong. Instead of the darkness lifting to show me something, I was left in it. There was no sight or sound, or smell. You couldn't taste or feel anything because nothing was the only thing that existed here. At first, I felt nothing, quietly waiting for something to change. I began to feel emotions and sensations that came from somewhere else. 

"Get out of me!" the voice echoed, and I felt a sudden jolt of fear. The hatred in the voice was enough to bring me to tears. "I don't want you!"
