Storming off the elevator, I walk down the hall, not waiting for anyone.

"Nefera, baby, he's fine." Ivan insists, following right behind me. 

"I'm not happy with you." I shoot him a dirty look. "You should have told me last night!" 

"They sedated him. There was no point in coming to see him." Ivan sighed, giving me the same argument he'd tried twenty minutes ago.

They'd waited until after I'd taken a shower and eaten breakfast to tell me what'd happened to Greg. It wasn't right. He was only seventeen, and a bunch of werewolves ganged up on him for no reason. No, they were crazy if they thought I would be alright with that bullying. I don't care if he beat them all up. No one shouldn be put in that sort of position.
