Capítulo 4: Chapter 4 Part 1 The long road ahead
Ok please don't judge this chapter because of the weirdness, remember I wrote this three years ago, nevertheless enjoy the chapter

"Hey Rex" says Steve "Are you done yet? I'm waiting on you".
"Ya ya, I'm done, you finish cleaning?"
"Yep….. You know what I just realized?"
Steve said that in a way that made me confused. "What's that?"
"You haven't changed out of those drenched clothes from earlier".
Just then Rex looked at himself to see Steve was right and he should probably get changed before they go. "Okay, I should probably get changed, thanks for reminding me".
I purposely said that with as much sarcasm as possible.
"Sometimes I wonder how long you would live without me". A smirk came as Steve said that.
"Maybe an extra couple years".
"Owth".
"Ya ya, can you pass me my bag?" thump of a bag.
"Thanks one sec ok".
"Okay, but hurry, we need to get there by nightfall".
"Got it". I start walking into the woods and behind a rock to get changed. I am not a very large person. I'm five, six feet tall. I open my bag and pull the change of clothes out. Some people would call me a rare sight because of my eyes, blue in nature with a tilt of red, i have brown hair as well but that's not really special. I take my dad's neckliss and put it to my forehead, closing my eyes, trying to get a glimpse of a face long forgotten, I take it off and get changed.
10 minutes later. "Finally took long enough didn't ya? Let's go". Steve was on a horse which he could tell was Sharlit, the brown horse they bought three months ago.
"Good to see you're in a good mood for this".
"I'm always in the mood to kick some ghoul ass and you know this" he said with a smirk on his face. "Now hurry up and get on Shadow and let's get going".
"On it". Shadow; the horse that has saved his ass more times then Rex can count and has been with him for as long as he can remember. Rex loved Shadow like a brother and Shadow is the reason they got Sharlit. Well, they were going down a mountain path toward their mission at the time and they stopped at a cliff and looked over the cliff for a minute. Suddenly an explosion went off and both horses started freaking out. Shadow calmed down quickly, but Taze Steve's last horse would not calm down and was about to trample me when Shadow pushed Taze off the cliff to save Rex. Sadly they had to carry half their stuff across the desert and through three separate forests and fields. "Ok I'm ready lets go" Rex said as he was hopping on Shadow and grabbing his reins.
"About time let's get going before there's no ghouls left!"
