"Mom, what happened to dad?" Syanja asked over the phone. She heard her mother's sigh on the phone before answering her. "He had a heart attack." She replied quietly, tears forming in Syanja's eyes as she took in the information. "What did the doctor said?" she asked softly, wiping at her wet eyes with the back of her wrist.

Her voice was wavering and her mother knew it, could hear the sadness and fear that lingered in her daughter's voice. "I don't know, honey. They're still working out the details," she answered softly.
