Capítulo 40: SPECULATION HAS IT THAT THEY ARE FIGHTING OVER

Carramel's POV

Though, I was shaking throughout the whole meeting as I tried to avoid the burning gaze of the rude man in there, I'm proud of myself for sticking through the whole hour. Everyone is leaving the room but Alex, Zee, James and I just sit there until the room is empty much to my confusion. The time is twelve and I text Enza to tell her to meet us at the restaurant at one.

As soon as the last person leaves and the door clicks behind them, Zee turns to me with a wide grin. "Holy shit, Carramel! I didn't expect that form you." She tells me and my cheeks rush into a blush at the way the three of them are looking at me.

"I've been trying to get James to stand up to the bastard forever but all he does is tolerate him." Alex says with a pointed look at his best friend but James ignores it as he continues to look at me with notes of pride in his eyes.
