Capítulo 69: Avengers Vs Kree Soldiers - 1
A big punch connected with the jaw of the Kree soldier, and he was thrown back in the air. Commander Steve didn't want to let go of his prey and shot multiple energy beams on this Kree Soldier. However, that Kree soldier flipped himself into the air and landed on his feet. Dodging right and left, he managed to avoid the energy beam and finding an opportunity he grabbed some circular balls from his belt and threw them towards Steve.
Steve on his instinct dodged the circular balls but this proved to be a fatal mistake. Those balls clashed with the ground and produced a huge dynamic frequency way that made the minds of everyone around the commander experience crippling pain in their head.
The human brain is fragile, and it works in electrical signals, but these dynamic frequency waves interfered with those signals giving a lot of mental pain and making them unable to fight. Steve dropped his gun and fell to his knees holding his head tightly.
Grinning, the Kree soldier roared and rushed towards the weak commander and kicked him very hard on his stomach area nearly blasting the commander all the way back like a football.
Before Steve could even get up, his helmet was crushed open, and he was being choked by another giant Kree. The Kree while choking Steve with one hand started raining punches on him with his other one. By his third punch, Steve activated his energy shield and attacked back.
"BOOM"
The punch and shield collided throwing both commander Steve and the Giant Kree back. The Giant Kree was pushed, and he jumped back to avoid any damage. When he landed, he felt his scalp tingling.
Using a Knight that came to attack him from behind like a human shield, he threw the knight in front of him where a laser attack turned the knight into nothingness.
The Giant Kree managed to avoid his certain death and took out a large handle that transformed itself to become a huge katana type energy sword.
The smoke cleared and the giant saw it was another human who attacked him and the previous human was nowhere in his sight. Feeling angry that he was attacked, the Giant Kree used his sword to kill a few knights who attacked him via their laser guns and then ran towards a stronger opponent who was fighting another Kree alone.
Bucky was smashing the head of one Kree with his vibranium hand when he felt the ground moving behind him. He looked back and saw a huge sword almost near his face. Twisting his head away at the last second and saving his neck, he shot multiple times at this new huge Kree soldier.
However, he forgot the one under him as the previously injured Kree soldiers tackled him to the ground and now his head was being smashed by the previous Kree. Bucky used his vibranium hand to catch a punch that was aimed at his already dented helmet and kicked him to escape but to his dismay, his feet were grabbed by the Giant Kree soldier.
Grabbing the feet of Bucky, the Kree soldier dragged him through the ground and then smashed him on the ground like a sack of potatoes. Bucky was able to survive only because of his suit and finding a small opportunity, he used half of the vibranium power, and his meta hand transformed to reveal a large energy cannon and shot decisively at the Kree soldier.
The Giant Kree soldier who was smiling like a winner had half of his body melted and didn't even know when he died.
Bucky looked sideways and found Hank fighting two Kree soldiers alone while his wife, Janet was controlling two Kree soldiers under her psychic powers and using them to fight their own kind.
Suddenly he heard a loud blast and saw his friend Steve coming out of the smoke holding the head of another Kree soldier.
Before he could say something, a huge noise attracted everyone's attention.
"BOOOOM!"
Phil launched some sort of heat rays via his eyes and burned the head of three Kree soldiers who surrounded him and they exploded themselves in a last-ditch effort to kill Phil. But Phil was unharmed and even his suit was hardly affected.
Bucky started laughing but suddenly he was shot by something in his stomach and felt unimaginable pain. His legs gave up and he fell to his knees. He looked at his stomach or whatever was left of it.
"AAAH!"
He felt all his energy leaving his body and he fell face-first to the ground. No one knew if he was still alive or dead.
His attacker was another Kree soldier who was holding a large bazooka type laser gun and with a sneak attack, he managed to avenge the death of his fallen kind.
"Bucky!" Steve shouting at top of his voice rushed towards his friend but suddenly his feet was captured by a strange robotic tripod. Before Steve could even understand what is happening, the robot blew itself in a devastating explosion.
This explosion threw everyone fighting back many feet and a few unfortunate knights simply died in this attack with their limbs splashing like tomato ketchup on the floor.
Steve, thanks to the superior quality of the suit, managed to survive the blast but his suit was torn apart in many areas. He protected himself with his energy shield but his lower half was torn apart. His right leg was blown off from the thigh area and one can see his bones and blood flowing out. The left leg was a mess of broken bone and blood.
Looking at his injured uncle and father, Eric who would always keep his anger in check let loose the scariest howl a beast can release. His Sabertooth lady, nicknamed Ms. Goldie, heard her master's call and her body mutated. She grew from a normal 8 ft. Sabertooth to an amazing 15 ft. fearsome beast and jumped directly on nearby Kree soldiers killing three of them instantly and Eric ran towards these aliens with long vibranium swords.
Wherever his swords will pass, heads of Kree soldiers will fall. They rushed together towards the injured Bucky and Steve at their top speed and Eric took away his injured uncle and father far away from the battlefield.
The sudden departure of two heavy hitters increased the pressure on Avengers but Phil was still there. Moving at an unimaginable speed, he grabbed the hand of a Kree soldier who was going to attack Hank and punched straight through his heart.
Hank getting some breathing space, reduced his size and jumped toward another Kree soldier.
"Take this!"
Hank punched under the jaw of the Kree soldier blasting his head off like a watermelon.
---- Inside the Project HEAL Operations room-------
Bucky and Steve were put in a healing solution chamber.
"Don't worry Eric. We got them. You need to go out there. Also, if possible, try to capture one of those aliens alive. Please." Doctor Helen Cho said to the panicking King of Africa.
Eric thanked the doctor and looked closely at the healing chamber.
"We can't grow the missing organs. Can we? I mean will we turn Uncle Bucky into a full robot?" He asked the doctors here.
"Well, growing organs would have been impossible in past but now, we might be able to pull that off by next month. Our first project, potion rebirth, is now in the finishing stage. Once administered, it will take force the human DNA to repair itself and allow the human body to regrow its missing parts. We were working on this to fix Mr. Stark but now I think we might be able to use this to save a lot more people."
A sweet and soothing voice of Dr. Maya Hansen bought a piece of surprise news to Bucky. Looking at the missing hand and stomach of his uncle bucky and the blown off legs of his father, Bucky was initially deeply worried. Thankfully, they had a solution to this problem.
Who knows when his Uncle Bucky will wake up, he might have both of his human hands?
"Goldie, let us go back, girl. Aliens to kill and capture. Let's go!" Jumping on top of his Sabertooth and riding it towards the battlefield, Eric left the HEAL operations room.
