It's been a week since the battle with the goblins, and Luke was busying himself with his intense training. In that short amount of time, he had gotten the class: <Elven Tank> and was at Rank 1.
His dragon 'Blackburn' had learned common and telepathy after getting his bloodline awakened by some ruthless training from Luke.
Luke on the other hand had reached his peak and was no longer able to advance due to his weak body. He then entered a new training phase to temper his frail body and increase his constitution which at a dazzling <0.3>.
Bang~~!!!
Luke rammed into an object at the centre of his training room. It was shaped like a cylinder and weighed over 100 tons. Luke wiped the sweat on his forehead and took a stance and closing his eyes.
Wu...
His eyes flashed opened as he kicked the earth and dashed forward at an abnormal speed. His monstrous energy split the shrieking winds as his little muscles forcefully contracted.
OVERLORD~ RULES~ THE~ HEAVENS~!!!
Bang!!!
Luke's little and frail body was sent flying metres back from the shockwave created by the impact. He landed down on his back, digging a car-sized crater.
He looked on to the cylinder which was slightly tilting to the back with a visible puncture where Luke's fist landed. Luke sighed as he shook his fist with a frown on his face.
'That's still not enough!' Luke thought as he looked on to the cylinder while picturing the assassin who killed him in his head.
He remembered that he was being hunted by a strange group because of his abnormal genetic code. The assassin was probably someone from that group who was sent to kill him.
The question is 'why'?
Luke was just your average powerless kid with a skill used to scare off bullies. He never had any scuffles with anyone and did as he was told:
'Don't ever try to resist.'
He had been too naive. The assassin slaughtered her way into the facility, killing those using him as an experimental guinea pig. He had thought she was there to save him so he let down his guard, and was killed in a flash.
He strangely appeared as an elf with a <Royal Class> and a system to help utilise his abilities in a way he'll grasp them easily. The number mission was to become strong enough to ascend into a god from an elf.
As for that assassin...
He had swore to kill her when he was strong enough.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Luke continued to punch the cylinder as his knuckles began to hurt. His eyes flashed as he unleashed a series of punches on the cylinder, completely bringing it down to the ground.
"Phew, one down, nine to go."Luke sighed before looking up to the remaining cylinders which were standing as overbearing and formidable as mountains.
Halifax on the other hand walked into the room wearing nothing but plain common clothes. He held a box in his arms and wore a rarely seen sly smile on his face that made Luke's skin crawl.
Alert - The Fox Has Arrived!
Luke was scared of his own father's crafty nature after the battle with the demon-god talisman. Halifax had told him that since the enemy died in his territory and under his command he was entitled to all the treasures. He used his power as a father and king to sly rob Luke of his own loot.
"What is it now dad?" Luke asked while his attention was clearly on the box held in his father's hands.
"It's a gift from a father to son of course!" Halifax said with a grin that contained very crafty intent.
Luke felt imminent danger from those words and the devilish smile on his father's face. He wanted to escape from the situation, but somehow he felt as if it was useless.
"Erm, dad. Are you here to return the 10 gold you burrowed from me that day?" Luke said, entering a mental shooting gallery with his father.
Halifax choked on his next words as he began to cough wildly, with his eyes closed. His face paled as his coughing session ended and he began to gasp for air with teary eyes.
Luke ignored him and directly grabbed the box before gracefully opening it. He jaw nearly dropped as a series of messages appeared at once before him.

"Father isn't a full set of royal equipment, too much?" Luke asked while scratching the back of his head with embarrassment visible on his face.
"Nah, when you're meeting one of your many wives, you should be at your best!" Halifax said before continuing with a smug expression, "I've already arranged your marriage, and immediately you turn eighteen you'll have your mate, the human -"
"FATHER~~~???"

Fay and Meng sat down in the carriage silently as they were being escorted to personally receive the elven prince. They had forgotten about the sword and finally decided to avoid the room.
Fay was dressed in a crimson red gown reaching down to the top of her knee. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail which went down to her waist, complementing her fiery hot appearance.
Meng on the other hand was dressed in a purple top and skirt. Her wings flapped rapidly behind her as she floats above Fay's head while reading a book which was floating by itself in the air.
"Meng Meng, why do you like reading books that aren't meant for fairies?!" Fay asked as she looked up to the fairy above her head.
Meng was about to speak when the carriage suddenly came to a halt. Her wings twitched before sinking into her back as the door was opened by Fay's butler.
Fay and Meng hopped off the carriage gracefully before landing to the ground lightly. They both looked up immediately as Fay's heart raced.
Oh my God!
Fay nearly collapsed after seeing Luke who casually bowed to her. His jet-black hair, big black eyes, white spotless skin and domineering aura made Fay turn completely spellbound as her heart continued to race.
He's too handsome, how can a being be this perfect?!
Luke on the other hand was shocked by the dazzling beauty of the human princess. He instinctively swept back a loose strand of black hair off his face and deeply examined the princess.
She had blood-red hair tied back in a ponytail, her red pupils caged the overwhelming months worth of killing intent and portrayed a gaze full of intelligence. Her crimson red gown made her look like some blood angel incarnate.
Luke and Fay locked eyes and silently entered a battle of dominance with both having one thought:
'Too Strong'
