Capítulo 67: Meeting a friend

Calliope looked at him in confusion. "What do you want, Amadeo?"

"Mama, my classes at the academy will start in two months. Jane and Sir Dyke said I will have to stay there for as long as I complete my school," Amadeo said in a soft voice. "I will only be able to come home during the holidays. Can I spend these two months with you here? I don't want anything else, just you. Can I please?"

He knew that she didn't give birth to him and was actually his sister. But he refused to acknowledge anyone else but her as his parent. She was his only parent. He didn't care what people said behind her back to him. She would be his only mom. No one would ever be able to do what she had done for him and what she was doing for him. She had lived her life for him and wasn't it his responsibility to make sure that she lived a bit for herself too?
