94.88% Frost's Greed (Marvel) / Chapter 196: Issue #1

Capítulo 196: Issue #1

Author's Note: Sorry, I needed to do that time skip in the last chapter. If I didn't, I felt that I had to write out another 5 months of a slice of life, unsure of how many more chapters that would waste. I don't wanna spend over 50 chapters in just that one arc. I also needed time to get my mind in order and get this new arc ready.

This arc will cover several of the important events that happened as one-shot episodes like on a TV show where there will be gaps between each one. Will cover what happened before the time skip, the wedding, the 4th harem member, the Winter-Summers war, and a few other things. If there is anything you want to read about that you think won't be covered, let me know.

Jack saw the blood and Emma on the bed as well as several people around the room. Besides Emma, there was Rachel, Stella, Moira MacTaggert, and an unknown woman.

The others were looking at the mysterious woman in confusion and with vigilance.

"Where is my child?!?!" Jack demanded, ready to kill the unknown woman

When he and Emma talked about having a baby the week before, it turned out that they were able to get the job done the first night. But by the second day, Emma's belly swelled. And each day after, it got bigger and bigger.

Unsure of what was going on, Jack used one of his 3 chances to talk with Chuck to figure out what was happening. And that was where he realized his mistake.

"You two are no longer mortals. You don't get pregnant or give birth as mortals do.

While they need to try their best to get pregnant on the right day and need 9 months to give birth, that is not true for a god. Especially since plenty of your godly powers originates from the Greek Pantheon.

For you two, since one of you is a primordial spirit and the other is a fertility goddess, she can get pregnant as long as you two will it. Hell, even if one of you just wants a kid, she will end up pregnant.

As for why her belly is swelling so fast, that is also due to your godly nature. The child inside of her will only needs between 3-7 days before they reach maturity. Perks of being a deity," Chuck explained

Hearing this, Jack immediately calmed down. As long as Emma was fine, that was all that mattered.

But as the week progressed, Jack was more and more worried. This was the first time that he would be a father to an actual child. So while working on everything else he had on his plate, Jack was studying every type of parenting technique and some Greek Mythology so he wouldn't be caught off guard again.

It was finally during his meeting with the heads of the various departments of the Future Foundation that Emma gave birth to their child, 6 days after their initial conception.

The unknown woman saw that Jack was almost ready to act so she hurried to explain herself.

"Father, it is me! I am the child that Mother has just given birth to!" the woman hurried to explain

Jack wanted to refute her but when he remembered Greek myths, it all made so much sense.

Artemis helped her mother give birth right after she herself was born.

Apollo slew a mighty beast soon after he was born.

Athena exited Zeus's head when she was born as a fully grown woman wearing armor and clothes while wielding weapons.

Each of these pointed to a single thing that pure gods had in common: They were born as adults or at least teens.

Jack studied the woman in front of him and saw that there were many similarities between her and Emma as well as Jack himself.

She was a beautiful young woman, had a tall and slender build, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, thin pink lips, a small nose, long, platinum-blonde hair, and pale skin. She also had a small, crescent moon mark on her forehead. It was like she was given the best traits from each of her parents.

"Jack, Darling. Stop bullying our daughter. I have just given birth so all I wish to do right now is hold my daughter and give her a name," Emma stood up from the bed before walking in front of the young woman, protecting her from Jack's probing gaze

Jack could only shake his head helplessly.

'My fiancee is bullying me for our child's sake,' Jack thought bitterly. Since Emma was protecting her, there was nothing else that Jack could do or say. It seemed that she had already accepted the woman as her daughter.

"Understood. What name do you think is suitable for her, then?" Jack asked curiously

"She is beautiful like the moon. I think that the name Diana suits her very well. What about you all? What do you think?" Emma asked the opinions of everyone else in the room but they understood the woman well enough that their opinion didn't matter. Emma had chosen a name and was going to stick with it.

The others agreed that the name suited her while Diana smiled brightly at her mother, glad that she had been given a name.

'I shouldn't have agreed to only get to name the child if it was a boy. She must have known it was going to be a girl.'

No longer worried about Emma's safety, Jack sent Dr. MacTaggert away before calling the rest of their children over.

When the others arrived, they were surprised to see that the baby they had been expecting was an actual young woman who was older than all of them. Funnily enough, Diana looked older than all the other Frost children except for Stella.

Jack looked at Diana before turning his attention to the other members of his family. While he and Emma were immortal, his children weren't.

'Taking time to convert each of them would be unfair and too time-consuming. When I get my other half back, I may need to go hunt some other gods so I can pass on titles for them.'
