Capítulo 151: Issue #11
Jack appeared inside Hercules' apartment only to find that it had a single, blonde woman inside. Jack smiled and walked over to her.
"Well. If it isn't Mrs. Alabama," Jack greeted her
Hebe looked at Jack and smiled at him before playfully punching his arm
"Like you are one to talk. Isn't Emma officially your sister?"
"Officially, half-sister. But we both know that she isn't. Unlike you and Hercules, who actually do share the same father."
"It's not my fault that the only other immortal men in my life are arrogant assholes or related to me because my father can't keep his dick in his pants," Hebe said as she poured two cups of coffee before passing one to Jack, "And speaking of arrogant assholes, why did you teleport into my home again?"
Jack accepted the cup and took a drink. The subtle taste of Nectar in the coffee filled his stomach instantly.
"Well speaking of people that can't keep their dicks in their pants, I was coming to look for Hercules but I suppose you should know it better than him since you are much older than him and lived in Olympus longer."
Jack took the time to explain what had been going on while she and Hercules were away from Olympus. How Nyx broke her seal. How she killed all the Olympians. How they came back as evil versions of themselves. And how he had killed them all permanently.
Hebe sat in her chair as she listened to it all but besides the initial sadness, she felt indifferent. She was never close to anyone in her family except for Hera but after her mother kept involving her in plots against Hercules, even these two grew distant.
The only ties she had with Olympus was the blood that ran through her veins.
"So you are going to Olympus to avenge the Olympians?" Hebe asked as she sipped her coffee
"Sorry but you know I am not like that. That was a matter that started with the Greek Pantheon and should have been dealt with by the Greek Pantheon."
Hebe nodded in agreement. In her opinion, there were no good and evil beings amongst most pantheons. Many gods were just as selfish as humans but due to their power, they exposed their dark sides more often. And her pantheon was no exception.
"So why do you want to go to Olympus?" Hebe asked curiously
"I plan on taking Olympus for myself. I have been building a new realm recently and want to expand on it. Having Olympus be a part of it would be a great boost for me since I can use the Adamantine there for my own purposes," Jack confessed
He didn't mind sharing all of this with Hebe for 3 reasons.
1, she was a friend he could trust. As the wife of one of his favorite drinking buddies, he had gotten to know her whenever he had to crash at their place because Hercules got him drunk. After so many times talking, he learned that she was a woman that could keep the secrets of others.
2, he needed her help. And the best way to get another person's help was by being honest with them. Since she was a friend and he needed her help, he couldn't just lie to her.
3, he felt guilty. Even if she was not deeply upset about it and that they were evil, Jack had still killed her family. He didn't regret his actions but he still felt bad that it came to that when he was speaking with Hebe.
Hebe swirled the coffee in her cup around a few times while she thought of a response.
"Fine. But me and Herc are coming with you," was the final decision that she had come up with
"And you won't accept no for an answer?"
"Oh, I will. But that would just mean that me and Herc would head there without you," Hebe replied indifferently
Jack looked at her for a moment before nodding. Since they were going no matter what, he might as well go along for the ride.
Habe nodded before she picked up her phone and dialed Hercules' number. She then put the phone on speaker before holding her finger to her mouth in order to make sure that Jack was silent.
"Hello," said a woman's voice, dripping with coquettishness
Jack smiled while Hebe rolled her eyes. The biggest whore in the entire universe was her husband and there was nothing that she could do about it. Hebe usually ignored his philandering ways but got annoyed when she had to deal with the matters herself.
"Yes, Slut #31987129. If you could tell my husband that his parents are dead and we are going on a quest for vengeance, that would be very much appreciated."
The woman on the other end scoffed when she heard how Hebe addressed her but when she heard that it was concerning Hercules' parents, she didn't make a comment about it and instead went to inform Hercules.
A few moments later, Hercule picked up the phone sounding concerned
"Hebe? What do you mean? Zeus is dead?"
"He along with all the other gods. Nyx has broken free so we need to go seal or kill her now. Jack is here with me btw."
"Hey, Herc," Jack said from the side
Hercules was still taking in the news. To hear that his father had died was something that Hercules was never expecting.
"I'll be back home within the hour. Tonight, we bathe in blood!"
