Capítulo 149: Issue #9
(Ok. So I think I have to explain what happened in the last chapter. Not cause I give a damn about a few people dropping the novel but just because plenty of people are confused and think he got nerfed. So let's get started.
First, the reason why the avatars were in his mind. Jack literally absorbed billions of souls/astral bodies into his mind. It wasn't like he was filtering, he was just accepting everyone. Jack sent out a giant psionic beacon by doing that, attracting their attention and therefore, letting them inside. This was basically having an open invitation party where anyone was allowed. It always ends with some people you don't want coming over or the cops shutting it down very quickly.
Second... I'm not sure there is a second. That is the only thing I can think of that you guys might be confused about being a nerf to him. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the fuck you "half-witted scruffy-looking nerf herders" (Star Wars reference I had to use since I was saying nerf) are talking about when you say nerf.
He literally just absorbed 7 gods, is about to absorb Ymir, and got eldritch/abyssal magic. Also, this is the only chapter I had half pre-written because I did not feel like coming up with all these powers later on.)
After Jack sealed away the Phoenix Force feather, he began to redesign his psychic shield. Instead of being the basic barrier of protection that most other powerful telepaths had, Jack made his unique.
Around his mental universe, Jack created a 3-dimensional labyrinth. The labyrinth surrounded Jack's entire mind with only a single entrance. But the trick to the labyrinth was not only that it was harder to break into from the outside, but the walls of the labyrinth were constantly shifting and moving around. This would make it nearly impossible for someone to infiltrate Jack's mind without his permission now.
But the best part of Jack's design was that he could close off the labyrinth and trap his enemy's psionic energy within his own mind by closing off the labyrinth's entrance. This would allow him to absorb their energy into his.
With his new defenses set up, Jack finally left his mind and returned to the outside world. Once he was outside, he felt a slight headache from knowing he now had to deal with 3 powerful psionic entities but other than that, Jack was feeling the best he had in a few weeks.
'And since I am all better now, I guess I can go ahead and do that.'
Jack grabbed two small caskets and teleported back to Midgard before teleporting to Mercury. The moment he arrived, Jack felt the heat on his skin but it wasn't unbearable. But even if he could withstand it, his clothes simply evaporated the moment he arrived due to his close proximity to the sun.
'Fuck. I'm so glad I waited until I killed a few gods before I decided to do this.'
Jack stacked both of the caskets on top of each other after putting them on the ground before he summoned Leviathan and stabbed both of the caskets. When he did, Jack could feel both of the caskets howling in pain but it was obvious that Ymir was still alive.
Some snow started to appear in front of Jack before immediately evaporating into nothingness.
"Seriously, Ymir? Did you think I teleported all the way to Mercury, just to have you come and fight me over this?"
Jack could feel Ymir's anger through the caskets but he ignored it. He just wanted to get the Ice Giant's powers. Jack stabbed into the caskets several more times. When Jack finally entered the Dark Place, he knew that he had succeeded in killing the primordial being.
Jack looked around until he found the same golden words as he had the other times he had found when he got titles.
[Ymir, the Primordial Giant: The owner of this title is the first giant to come into existence and the most powerful that has ever and will ever exist. The owner is the power to control all giants in existence, create new giants, is the embodiment of winter, giant magic, and the body of the strongest giant.]
Jack looked over all of the abilities that he would get and nodded to himself. He took the title into his being and immediately felt the change.
Jack grew to the height of his titan form while his body also began to lower in temperature rapidly. The entire Dark Place was filled with ice in moments, just from Jack standing there.
"Oh, this is so much power. This might make me even more powerful than what I got from absorbing all 7 of the gods. But this isn't enough."
Jack tried to mix and max as many powers as he could but there were only 4 that were compatible with one another.

Jack's body shrunk back down to his former size but he could feel that his body was more powerful than ever before. Jack knew that with his current strength, he could have fought the 7 Olympians head-on and killed them all without getting a single injury on his body.
'So this is what true power feels like. I wonder if I have surpassed the strength I had in Stella's timeline or if I am still too weak.'
Jack couldn't help but want to go and try out his strength but he knew better. At his current level, the beings that he could fight would not let him just walk away if he dared to start a battle with them. It would be fighting to the death with no certainties on who would come out on top.
Jack knew better than to pick fights like that. But he was still curious about what exactly his new power was.

'I'm not even sure how to react to that. It seems so simple yet so complicated. And if I combine that with the other titles I have, I'm definitely the strongest mutant around. My plan to evacuate as many mutants as I can to Eden can begin even sooner than I thought.'
