"Mom!" Rachel softly buried her face for a moment staring at the hand of the old lady who had been holding her hand tightly.

"Why?" That weak voice slowly made Rachel lift her face back to look at the Old Lady.

"Mom, do you approve of my marriage with Mas Nico?" Rachel asked innocently like a child to a woman lying on the bed with her right leg wrapped in a bandage.

The old lady carved a smile on the corners of her lips. "Why do you ask such thing?" replied the big lady. "Of course Mother approves of your marriage. How can parents not be happy when their children are also happy," said the old lady with a smile. Rahel returned the old gaze with teary eyes.

"But, father it seems....!" Rachel stopped her speech. It was as if someone was holding his throat which was choking.
