Capítulo 22: Chapter 22

"So Nico has been tricking us all this time. We didn't trick Nico!" Sofia whispered in a weak voice like she was powerless.

"Yeah, Sofia, I think so. We need to grab the company fast before Nico turns us on the streets!" shrieked Sam in an emphatic tone. His eyes squinted briefly at Sofia who was sitting in the driver's seat, then turned to the road in front of the car.

"Sam, does Nico also know about our affair?" Sofia held Sam's wrist, staring intently at the man in the driver's seat.

"I don't know I don't know, Sofia!" Sam replied looking unfocused.

Dreg! Dreg!

The cell phone in Sam's shirt pocket vibrated. Sam's face looked nervous for a moment, then he glanced at Sofia who was still dumbfounded by the fact that Sam had just told her. One hand Sam reached for the cell phone from the pocket of his pants. He glanced briefly at the flashing screen before he pressed the green button.
