Capítulo 86: Ch 76 – A New Adventure
(A Few Days Later)
Inside a deep dark room, one person wearing a white lab coat was seen standing in front of a table with the dead corpse of a monster in front of him.
"Phew, the regeneration of a Troll, the muscles of a Giant, a vial of one of the deadliest venoms in the world from a certain spider, sigh, I still don't have any dragons or any S rank monsters. But this should be enough" said the person as he took off his lab coat along with his shirt while holes were seen all around his body that look a bit grotesque as he stuck the flesh of the dead monsters inside those holes along with him eating the corpses raw and drinking the vial of venom like water.
"Oh shit," said the man with a trembling voice as he drops down to the ground while his eyes rapidly dilated, his body trembling in unnatural ways while froth spew out of his mouth.
Soon, the holes started to close themselves as the flesh of other monsters became integrated into his body and with that, his body convulsed in the ground as his veins pop out colored black showing the venom was taking effect.
But what was strange was that even though he was obviously in pain, his eyes were as calm as the ocean as he just let his body naturally do its thing.
Soon, rapid changes were seen all around his body as the black veins receded along with his skin being more compact and leathery but it also went back to normal in a few minutes as the man just stayed like that for a few additional minutes.
"Whew! It's finally finished, I'm now officially a chimera-like being" said the man as he flex his compact muscles that seems to hold unrivaled strength compared to his size along with endless vitality coursing through his body that seems to become hold more vigor by the second.
"Ngh, it's time to test out my strength, I should be A rank right now in raw physical power, but in terms of versatility, I should be able to contend with S rank monsters," said the man as his vision rapidly changed from heat vision, x-ray vision, and more that shows his body hides more things than the eye can see.
"But I'm still far off from the likes of Don Will Dead" muttered the man as he got out of the dark room and towards the door that shows a flight of stairs in front of it.
"Yawn, I wonder when I can learn magic?" muttered the man as he walked up the flight of stairs and was greeted by the sight of a cozy-looking house.
While rubbing his head, Kyouma went towards the door and opened it without a second thought as wings suddenly unfurled from his still naked upper body as he flew out of the forest and towards the royal capital in the distance at a rapid pace that produce sharp howls in the air.
As I flew through the air with the flap of my wings, I landed inside the royal palace and walked towards a certain place where I know I can meet them.
As I arrived in front of a certain door, I knock on the door while shouting "Open please."
"Hi Kyouma," said Roro as he opened the door for me while I nodded and entered the room to be greeted by the sight of the room with a large rectangular table along with ten seats with most of the reincarnates sitting in their seat except for Louis who wasn't here yet.
"Yo," I said with a wave of my arm while taking my seat as Kilt nodded at my presence.
"Let's start without Louis then, so the demons are currently still not attacking so we can take a while to do our own things for now. Kyouma, what do you estimate your strength right now?" asked Kilt.
"About A rank, we could test it with Don's Death Knights," I said as Kilt looks at Don who nods in response.
"Oh, are you about to fight Kyouma?" asked Flare as Don nodded.
"Yes, we are going to assess his combat prowess right now," said Don as we all appeared in an open field beside the Royal Palace while I got teleported again and now I am away from the other reincarnates.
"You can start now!" I shouted as Don nodded and with that, dark miasma started to appear from the ground beside me as a Knight wearing black armor appeared in front of me along with a gigantic sword on his arm.
As the Death Knight's soul fire eyes glowed red, it looked at me with focused eyes while slowly lifting his hand that carried the sword towards me.
"Start," said Don as we nodded at each other to show respect, and with that out of the way, I rushed towards the Death Knight with a wild grin while my muscles rapidly inflated to the stress of battle but it also rapidly got lean and compact for optimization as my fist collided with its steel sword with the clanging of metal being heard as sparks flew out from the point of contact.
But with my hand now in contact with the sword, acid got secreted from my palms as the metal sword got dissolved into nothing and with the Death Knight now having no weapon, my grin got wider as my other hand grabbed its face and with a tight grip, its whole metallic helmet got crush as the reincarnates applauded from the side.
"Good job," said Kilt as I nodded and walked towards them with a nonchalant face while we appeared back in the same room as before.
"Now that our meeting is over, you can go back now," said Kilt as we all stood up from our seats, most of our meetings are like this, we just sit, talk about the current events of the world and our plans and go on our way after that.
"Oh yeah, I'm going to the wild on my own for a week straight," I said as they all stopped in their tracks from what I said.
"What?" asked Imerda as she looked at me with confused eyes along with the others.
"My progress has been going slow this past few days due to the lack of stress, I need to make my body become desperate, and what better way than exploring the world on my own with nothing but my body," I said as Kilt sighed.
"Fine," said Kilt as I wore a large grin.
"Well I'll go on my way now, I still need to get my clothes and start my adventure," I said while opening the window beside us and with that, I jump off while unfurling my wings and flew towards my house in the forest beside us that just lacks the danger I want for my body.
With the permission to explore the world now in my hands, I started to plan out my week-long adventure and started to think of the perfect place for desperation that my body will respond to by evolving my body.
And what better place than throwing a random dart on a map and starting from there, so with a grin, I entered my house and put on my shirt, lab coat, and glasses while taking out a map from the shelf and pinning it to the wall while grabbing a piece of sharp wood.
"Come on, give me a cool place to start," I said while I closed my eyes and with that, I threw the sharp piece of wood towards the map and opened my eyes to see that the dart was on the…
"Oh, the West Continent, or more aptly named the Elven Continent where the elves reside, the continent is also teeming with monsters on the lands uninhabited by elves, and with its lush forests, this is the perfect place for monsters to be strong. Now that I think about it, this is the perfect place for me! With my starting point being far away from the lands of elves, I would have to desperately go towards civilization while constantly fighting monsters along the way!" I said as my heart pumped faster from the sheer excitement I felt.
"Okay, Elven Continent it is!" as I said that, the mark of Don Will Dead that was on me got dispelled by blocking it with space while I left a note on the ground that said.
"Yes, I managed to take out the mark, don't worry, it's intentional, more danger means more benefits for me, see you in a week or so," said the note as I nodded and teleported away in an instant while the moment I left, Don's body appeared in my house and just as expected, he saw the note on the ground and read it with confused eyes.
"How did he take out my mark? It's embedded into the soul, did he take out his soul or what? He doesn't know magic so maybe it's just his cheat" said Don with a sigh as he teleported away from Kyouma's house while he appeared in a dense forest.
"Well, there's no turning back now, it's time to start my adventure in the Elven Continent" muttered Kyouma as he took a deep breath and prepared to start his desperate struggles in this forest full of very strong monsters that gain the resources of these bountiful lands.
