Alan raised the sword above his head and yelled out, "Grade 4: Timeless Mist Cutter!"

It felt as if Alan's whole body had grown lighter than usual. His mind went completely blank as if all his worries had simply disappeared. It was a thoughtless moment, just the flow of his body and the movement of the sword.

He closed his eyes and felt the mana decreasing in an instant. The mana ran along his arms to his sword and he felt a certain chill surrounding him.

Water... It was the image he saw in his mind. A drop of water falling from an infinite void of darkness... And finally, *Drop!*

Alan opened his eyes.

The movement of the demon before him was extremely slow. The remarkably fast demon was somehow slower than anyone else now... Or was it the case?

Alan's eyes circled the perimeter. A bird in a tree had been stuck in midair... "Hehe~" Alan smirked upon figuring out the situation.
