Capítulo 14: Anxiety, affinity, obvious
Since Sora woke up a week ago, he more silent than before and his word also can be counted by finger. This makes Miya and Amane worried. Sora starts school after a week of rest and Kirie is glued to Sora like Koala. Sora cannot stand his behavior, directly ask him.
"The hell with you sticking at me like this, too gross. Fuck off."
"Brother now you know how to swear. Why me. What have I done do you."
He asks like he has been wronged all the time. Kirie knows that something is wrong with Sora but he will keep waiting until Sora tells him by himself that also show how he trusted Sora no matter what.
Kirie brings Sora to the canteen when the rest time starts well it can say that Kirie drags him by force as he says he will treat him a meal. He forces Sora to take a seat and wait for him to buy the food.
In the middle of waiting for the meal to arrive, Sora smells something foul with his sharp sense of smell. It smells like a dog in the cafeteria. He looks for it but only sees a crowd of girls. He ignores them and waits for Kirie at the nearest table.
'What took him so long?' Sora grumbles. The noise from the girls gets louder and closer and he can see a group of handsome men walking in his direction.
"Dog?" He unconsciously blurts out as the smell from earlier gets stronger and it disgusts him.
The men look at him and glare. Their eyes were bright yellow, while the other has dark red eyes like Akari There is something about them that does not seem like a normal human. He turns around, avoiding their gaze. The men walk past him with chicks following them.
'So the smell comes from them. Are they not human?'
After a long time of waiting, Sora finally sees Kirie with a tray full of food coming. While they were eating, Kirie saw him eating less than before and surely this make him wonder but he doesn't have the courage to ask Sora.
Kirie, check someone for me" Sora gives him a task
"What is that you want brother" Kirie ask while he lost in thought
"Those dogs, see if they will become our enemy or not."
"and dog? what dog, where you found a dog for me to check." Kirie was confused heard his order.
"THOSE... DOG... AT...SCHOOL... the one with the pack."
"ok..." then Kirie runs faster like he will die if he stays any longer. 'brother, you give me vague task, dog, when did our school let dog inside.'
Seeing him run away makes Sora remember the first time they meet.
When Sora was still 6 years old and always alone not because he disliked the family but because he was still not used to them, and accustomed to being alone, that is why he prefer alone. One day, when he is alone reading a book in the garden, there is a movement at the bush and someone's head suddenly pops up looking at him. His eyes are big and round. He looks innocent when he stares at Sora. He approaches Sora slowly before sitting beside him.
"Hey, you. What's your name? I'm Kirie, your neighbor. I live there," He smiled while pointing somewhere.
Every day, Kirie kept coming over to talk to Sora. Sometimes he forced Sora to play with him when Sora wrote on the paper that he want to sleep. His persistence won against Sora until Sora don't care anymore and just went along with Kirie. In one of their meeting, Kirie was running furiously at him and grabbed his arm to run along.
"Where are aunty and uncle?" He asked Sora while running.
Sora shook his head not knowing where his parents went. Behind them, several men in black chased after them and kept shooting their guns at Sora and Kirie. Kirie tried running towards Sora's home so they could get some protection inside. When they were almost there, Sora suddenly pushed Kirie to the side and got shot on his shoulder. Sora stumbled before falling. Kirie was shocked to see Sora get shot because Sora tried to protect him. He trembled to look at the blood.
"No... no... Soraa..."
Kirie supported Sora by his shoulder and proceed to reach the mansion as fast as he could but those men caught up to them. Sora immediately ran to the front door and took a gun out from the hidden place. His parents hide it but Sora accidentally saw it. Sora aimed the gun, pulled the trigger, and shoot them one by one. He never misses a bullet. After he finished killing all of them, he pushed open the door and let Kirie inside.
Once they were both insides, Sora let go of the gun and walk slowly to the sofa. Kirie helped him. A few minutes after, the door slammed open with Sasaki and Shu running inside with worried faces. Seeing their supposedly hidden gun on the floor, they both asked Sora about it. They never knew Sora could handle the gun so well after Kirie explained everything to them. Amane informed Kirie's father that his son is safe with him.
Since then, Sora's relationship with his parents became closer. He came to know that they are one of the underworld big-shot.
Slowly but surely Sora finally start to talk and open up to his parent and Kirie was adopted to be the second son and surely Sora's little brother. This was also to protect Kirie since he got a troublesome background.
His reminisce got cut off by the screaming girl near his seat, which make him angry, and rush out of the canteen to return to class.
In the class, Sora kept sleeping in every class. Akio suddenly comes to his class make the girl hysteric once again.
"Oh no!! the girl will bring trouble to us again." The boy whimpered like wither plant. They rest their head at the table in hope they can get out of trouble. In their heart, 'a girl will always bring trouble. Stay away from them.'
