To be honest, am quite surprised at myself, as I have never had anyone to have a conversation let alone even hang out with them.
Now am thinking of giving myself a chance to interact with people including samra and Brian who I haven't heard of since last night.
On the other hand I have no idea how to deal with Brian's cousin, he's so irritating and now he likes to get girls attention.wherever he appears, girls would scream and try to get his attention which is something he seem to enjoy every time and Idont understand why they behave like he's some kind of celebrity not that I would deny he has a celebrity figure.
He's tall, muscular body, he has an asian look and mostly he has an attractive eyes more like dragon eye shape. the one thing I don't understand is what he's doing here in college .last time I remember he was taking interview in the hospital where Brians mom is admitted.
After I ended the call with samra, I went to the basketball court to do my assignment, I would have gone back to the dorm but it was a bit far and I also had to do some research on the history assignment which was sent via email.
As I entered the place, there some students sitting on the bench, some were having conversations with one another while majority of them were there to watch basketball practice and the were also cheerleaders who were practicing on the other side of the room.
As I took my seat, I took out my book to start my assignment when suddenly some girls started screaming loudly which made me look up and what I never thought to happen just did.
the reason behind their scream was none other than the guy I wasn't expecting to see today, and he just appeared in the place I was expecting him to be. I rolled my eyes at their behaviour. I looked back at my book and continued writing my notes until I finished.
As soon as I was done, I stood up to leave. Girls kept on yelling and shouting on top of their lungs to cheer his name.
And it was so annoying,I walked downstairs and headed towards the exit. The noise was so loud that I didn't hear someone shouting my name.
Little did I know a ball hit my chest and I feel backwards, luckily two pair of strong arms held me by my waist and saw alvaro or Cody whatever his name was.
Before I knew it, I heard Martha's voice calling my name as well.
By the time I woke up, I looked around and found myself laying down on a bed. I then saw a Martha and alvaro sitting on the sofa talking.
As I sat up they both walked to me and a doctor came in.
"How are you feeling now Sophia?" She asked as she checked my eyes.
"A bit pain in my head" I said as I held my head.
"It's because of the hit of the ball luckily you were bought in just in time at the moment you'll need a full time bed rest" she said as she gave me a prescription.
"Thank you doc" i said as I smiled at her and she left.
"Sorry for the accident "alvaro said as he rubbed his neck.
"It's ok,i guess I should have been careful in the first place" I said as I partly blamed myself.
"Well it's good that nothing bad happened " Martha said as I had no idea why she was here in the first place.
"Wait, what are you doing here Martha I didn't see you in the room earlier?" I asked as I wondered.
"I came for the practice as I always do and saw you being hit with the ball so I accompanied you is that a problem?" She asked as she put her hand on her hips.
I guess I didn't see her as I was busy walking away and I accidentally got hit and ended up in here.
Once I was feeling well, I wanted to go to the dorm when alvaro offered to help me go to the dorm.
"It's fine, I'll go by myself and besides it's against the rules for boys to go to the girls dorm" I said as I stood up.
"Am sure Martha won't mind helping you get inside " he said as he looked at Martha who looked annoyed.
"Of course I don't mind and besides, you just need to get some sleep" she said as she seemed like she was holding back her anger.
In minutes, we were walking towards the dorm when Maria appeared out of nowhere and saw me leaning on Martha's shoulder as she held me close.
"Oh!my Allah Sophia what happened to you are you ok?" She asked as she looked at us.
"Yeah am fine just a little headache" I said.
I somehow felt like the ground was shaking and fell backwards but was held again by Alvaro who was behind us.
He was caring my belongings, I somehow felt a weired feeling until I heard Martha's voice.
"Are you sure you're OK,you need to be in your room by now" she said.
I quickly got out of his hold and stood up, I leaned on mariam's shoulder and she helped get to our dorm.
As we stood out of the room, mariam opened the door and we got in, both Martha and alvaro stood outside and he gave mariam my bag and waved at me before he left.
I laid on my bed as mariam put my bag on the table, I removed the pin around my head and removed my hijab before I laid on my pillow.
"I got you some sedative, you need to rest as well" she said as she gave me a pill and a glass of water.
I took it and laid back, she helped me with a blanket and took the glass to the kitchen.
Soon I laid down and slept, an hour later I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw mariam calling me.
"Hey beauty sleep, you need to pray it's almost evening " she reminded me and I quickly sat up.
I looked at my phone and saw a text from unknown number. I opened it and saw it was from alvaro.
Hey Sophie,
It's alvaro, I got your number from Brian I just wanted to check up on you hope you're OK Sorry for the ball.
It wasn't what I expected a text from him. Let alone am having a weird feeling about this.
I didn't text him back as I didn't know why he bothered to get my number from Brian.
I don't know if I should be happy or angry with him. I don't know what to think either.
Somehow I felt glad that he took time to check up on me.
He seems like a mysterious guy, on one hand he has multiple names, now he's in my college and he also asked for my number am quite surprised.
Something about him is screaming mysterious....
