Chu Yan's face darkened. The veins appeared on his arms as it tightened, he almost broke the phone for no reason. He was always calm and collected in regular days, but now, everything was getting out of his control.
He was unable to hide the anger in his voice, gritting his teeth, he asked: "Yan Li, what do you want?"
The close bond and familiarity was no longer found. Friends turned to enemies, it was no use compromising with a freak like Yan Li. Chu Yan was conflicted. If he had known that Lian Zhinan will cause a riot in their friendship, he shouldn't allow him to go out in the cage build for him. But Chu Yan doesn't want Lian Zhinan to became a puppet. He didn't expect that Yan Li would be interested with Lian Zhinan.
Yan Li's calm voice sounded from the other side, "Let him go. Don't let him stay in your villa."
Chu Yan sneered, "Then where do you want him to stay? In your house?" He laughed mockingly, "He will remain in my villa."

He slides down his gaze on his phone, where the young man's smiling picture was displayed. Chu Yan's eyes softened. This is a stolen shot when Lian Zhinan was talking, and since then, it became his wallpaper. He caresses it and sighed.
Lian Zhinan... is becoming dangerous to him.
He was only just a canary, a thing that Chu Yan took interest and would abandon once get tired of. But now, Chu Yan doesn't know anymore. Lian Zhinan… should belong to him. His body, his mind… even his heart.
Later that night, Chu Yan cleaned up his work and was heading to the master's bedroom. He was tired, and Yan Li was starting to make his move. If Yan Li was only a small pest, Chu Yan could easily clear him. But Yan Li also had a strong background and various connections, they stood on the same side. Nonetheless Chu Yan was already determined not to let go of Lian Zhinan.
He loosened his tie and unbutton a few buttons on his shirt. Opening the room, Lian Zhinan's shy face greeted him. Chu Yan was surprised. Even though, they spend countless times rolling in bed, it was his own initiative. Lian Zhinan had a separate room and they don't sleep in the same room. Why is Lian Zhinan here?
It was the first time for Lian Zhinan to do the first move, he was quite shy and the blushing face was hidden in the blanket. Hesitantly, he lifted his face and the soft fabric slide down on his skin.
"Brother Chu…" He called softly.
Chu Yan gulped, and he almost lost control for a moment. Still, his face was frosty, and the indescribable calmness was displayed. He looked at the young man on the bed, deeply, his eyes burning with passion, hidden in the endless snow. Like a volcano, on the verge of eruption.
Lian Zhinan was embarrassed by his gaze and tremblingly stood up. This past few months, his slender body grew some fats in some area. Although still looking fragile and delicate, he was even more exquisite in this way. The thin night gown outlined his body, the transparent fabric was faintly showing his parts, like the two cherries in his chest that were akin to a flower, blooming in radiance. His flustered face showed a smile, calling again softly.
"Brother Chu…"
Slowly walking directly towards the stunned man, Lian Zhinan's faced glowed lightly. The fluttering eyelashes indicating his nervousness and the pursing lips that was reddened by his bite. Filling the gap between them, the young man stretched his hands and hooked the neck of Chu Yan.
The sweet scent from the youth instantly overwhelmed Chu Yan. He couldn't stop himself from seizing the youth's waist and looked at him deeply.
There is an unknown expression in his face, his voice deep and cold, "What are you doing?"
The innocent Lian Zhinan became more nervous upon hearing that voice. He couldn't help lifting his eyes and blinking it softly. The confusion between his eyebrows were written, and the pure eyes looked unstained: "B-Brother Chu, I… I wanted to please you."
No matter how many times they spend time on bed, there is still innocence that cannot be erased. A sharp contrast was formed and everyone was unable to stop but to indulge in this carnal desire.
Chu Yan should be overjoyed by the youth's sudden approach. He was now like his canary, wanted to please him and afraid of being abandoned.

He shifted his gaze, avoided the young man's eyes and question, "Why are you doing this?"
Lian Zhinan lowered his eyes, seemingly shy and honestly responded, "I-I heard that the canary should please their gold master just not to be abandoned. Am I doing it right? Brother Chu, you won't abandon me, right?"

Chu Yan felt that it was harder to breathe this time. An unknown rope was tightening on his heart, making him feel pain and despair. The young man's words were honest and straightforward. Chu Yan was lost for words.
He asked again, stifling the incoming pain: "Who taught you this?"
He never vocally treated him as a canary, and all his actions were far from the gold master. Why does Lian Zhinan think of him like this?
Lian Zhinan responded sweetly but his words cruel enough to taste the bitterness, "Isn't our relationship like this? Brother Chu like my body, then isn't also a canary? Brother Chu doesn't want me to go out, I obeyed Brother Chu. And I didn't ask my brother's whereabouts because Brother Chu would be angry. Also, Brother Chu is supporting me and giving me the things that I want, isn't I a canary?"
Chu Yan gasped, and the hands holding the young man hardened. The mysterious force on his heart became even more painful. His eyes behind the eyeglasses turned bloodshot.

The long silent made the young man's dissatisfied. He lifted his eyes and smiled gently, "Brother Chu, aren't we going to fúck?"
Chu Yan suddenly put him down. Ignoring the indescribable pain in his heart, he smiled nicely, "You should sleep now. I have other things to do."
It really turned out that the young man treat himself as a canary. Obeying his words and never refuting him. He pulled the blanket on the bed and put himself into sleep.
Chu Yan clenched his fist. He didn't leave the room and stared at the sleeping profile of the young man. All the young man's obedience seems cleared now. Lian Zhinan had long known that he was canary, and he was doing his part.
It's so painful. This is the first time Chu Yan felt this. He touched his heart and tried to calm himself. A thought gradually solidified on his mind.
He does not want Lian Zhinan's body, what he wanted was his heart.
But it was already too late for that.
If only Chu Yan realized this sooner. Chu Yan felt something wet on his palms. His eyes were blurry.
