Capítulo 28: [Ch. 28] Punishments and Rewards
Panzram complied with Ryu's request and easily propped up the man. He followed Ryu back to his attic room without saying a word. Ryu opened the window that led to the roof and climbed up on the roof tiles. He turned around and motioned Panzram to follow. Panzram carried the passed-out man up onto the roof where Ryu then led him to the center where a large pole was.
Ryu motioned to it, "Hold up his body so I can tie him to the pole."
Panzram looked down and noticed a crowd starting to gather to watch them. Panzram glanced at him, "What's this?"
Ryu spoke as he started to tie up the man, "There are two rules at the Hime brothel. No violence and always pay your bill."
Panzram raised an eyebrow, "And if you don't?"
Ryu's smile grew larger, "Then you get punished by the Fourth Young Master."
Panzram scowled at this, "How do you punish them? Just tie them up?"
Ryu wagged his finger with a smug grin, "Let me ask you this, what's the one thing you'll never forget?"
Panzram thought about it. However, he had no idea what Ryu was thinking. He responded coldly, "Don't know."
Ryu answered, "It is humiliation. A person can be beat up, but they won't necessarily be deterred from the pain. However, if a person is humiliated then they'll never forget what caused their humiliation. It will be burned into their memory. Thus, to punish someone you must humiliate them to ensure they don't do something like this again."
Panzram silently watched as Ryu tied the unconscious man up to the pole. He spoke impassively, "And just how do you intend to humiliate him?"
Ryu suddenly ripped off the man's clothes with a devious smile, "I'm going to strip him naked and force him to scream out his most embarrassing secrets."
Panzram was rendered speechless as he watched Ryu quickly, and perhaps too skillfully, undress the man who was still knocked out. Now Panzram began to realize just why everyone wanted to avoid Ryu's punishments.
They were incredibly shameless!
Ryu finished undressing the man and spoke in a voice that seemed to echo off of nothing. "Now say all of your most embarrassing secrets."
The man's eyes instantly opened and he started bellowing out, "I've never had a lover! My mother calls me fat! Two days ago, I wet the bed!"
Ryu snickered as he watched the man scream his most embarrassing secrets in rapid succession. Everyone watching below could only shake their heads or blush from the secondhand embarrassment.
Panzram watched Ryu with a sharp glare. He thought to himself that this man was truly a lot more devious than he had thought. Panzram counted himself lucky that Ryu never wanted to go against him.
However, Panzram still thought this sort of thing was…
"Shameless." Panzram finished his thought out loud.
He was scowling at Ryu as he thought that this was certainly an abuse of his powers.
Ryu looked at Panzram with wide eyes after hearing his remark. He rushed toward Panzram with a panicked expression as if something had just dawned on him. "Ah! Panzram! Please forgive me! I forgot that you didn't like Tamashii energy…"
Ryu lowered his face as if he was waiting for Panzram to scold him like a child.
However, Panzram just grunted and turned around. It wasn't that Panzram meant he was upset Ryu used his Tamashii energy, but if Ryu was going to assume that it made Panzram mad; why would Panzram say anything otherwise?
Panzram didn't feel like correcting Ryu, so he let him assume the worst.
Ryu chased after Panzram trying to curry his favor, "Should I bring you a snack? You like strawberries, right? I can bring some sugar cane to chew on! Ah, Panzram!"
Panzram climbed back into the window and descended into Ryu's room. Ryu followed after him, quickly trying to placate the indifferent Panzram. The man was left on the roof still shouting out bad memories and embarrassing secrets.
Panzram sat down in the room and crossed his arms. Ryu sat next to him and continued pleading. After a few hours of the roof man's continual shouting, Panzram looked at Ryu. "How long will you leave him like that?"
Ryu shrugged, "I usually break the spell in the morning. But don't worry, I will make sure that he will remember every little word he said tonight."
Panzram's scowl deepened, "I wasn't concerned about that."
Ryu pouted, "Are you still angry with me?"
Panzram rolled his eyes and looked away from Ryu in irritation. Ryu looked around for a moment as he tried to come up with an idea. Then, his eyes lit up as he had a sudden idea.
Ryu crawled closer to Panzram with dazzling eyes, "I can take you out on the town tomorrow. If there's anything you'd like, I will buy it for you! Ah! Panzram? Oi, Panzram! Can you hear me?"
Panzram had closed his eyes as he attempted to ignore Ryu's constant clamoring. When he opened them, he saw Ryu's face only inches away from his.
This made him scowl more than usual.
He thought to himself: Doesn't this man realize who I am? Isn't he afraid I will force myself on him?! How could he be so defenseless!
Suddenly, Panzram grabbed onto Ryu's wrists and forcibly pulled him onto his lap. Ryu attempted to move, but Panzram held him tightly. Ryu could only look up into Panzram's eyes with surprise as he felt Panzram's breath on his lips.
Panzram looked down at those rabbit eyes and was surprised to see that there was no fear in them. There was only curiosity and surprise reflected back. He was about to force himself onto Ryu, but he hesitated.
For some reason, he didn't want to do such a thing to the small flamboyant man in his arms.
But why? He had never stopped before. It's not like he physically couldn't. Panzram never had that issue when it came to men. And truthfully, he did feel as though he would enjoy himself with this man. Yet…
He still hesitated.
Ryu was confused by being forced to sit on Panzram's lap in such an intimate fashion. However, his innocent brain couldn't process the intention behind Panzram's actions. His brain began to try to figure out just what Panzram wanted.
Ryu gave Panzram a wide smile, "Ah! Do you want a hug? I've heard people say before that hugs are quite therapeutic. Could that be what you want?"
Panzram's face twitched at Ryu's idiocy. He snapped, "No."
Ryu pouted, "Then… You really don't want a hug?"
Panzram smirked and grabbed Ryu's hips, pulling him even closer. He whispered, "I want a different kind of embrace."
