A pair of giant claws clashed. Megan mimicked the dog and made a pair of claws to clash head-on. They exchanged hundreds of blows in that fashion, with no obvious winner.

The dog had the advantage in strength and endurance, while Megan had speed and strategy on her side. She landed blow after blow, but it had little to no effect on its high defense.

Megan was not on a fool's errand. Her goal was never to defeat the golem. At least, not right away. She pulled back a bit after she became over-excited and made Xasha mad. A flashy display of power was never the aim. This was an opportunity to do extensive combat training against powerful opponents.

Their battle raged on, and as time went on, Megan became more agile and landed an increasing number of hits. Her improvement was not a significant improvement in power or skill. She analyzed the dog's movements and attack patterns and took advantage of obvious gaps.
