Capítulo 150: The Black Swamp

Aryan kept walking until his feet met a pool of water as deep as his ankle. The young man stopped for a moment, looking and observing the conditions around him. Then, he used the puddle of water to wash the blood from his face and body.

He assumed that the pool of water that was only his ankle-deep must be part of the black swamp, the edge of the swamp itself.

Aryan frowned, he saw something in the water, and then grabbed it. An iron hook is part of a horse's saddle.

Someone must have had a terrible experience trying to get through these swamps, Aryan thought.

He took a deep breath, again observing the condition of the swamp itself with the unique ability of his eyes.

"The water of this swamp is so dark," Aryan muttered, "no wonder Jihan calls this area the Black Swamp."

Aryan tried to focus more, pouring his magic into his eyes. He winced as his eyes seemed to radiate energy that allowed him to see more clearly.
