Capítulo 54: Chapter 54 - The Impromptu Engagement

"What? How could he? I mean... how about your mother?" asked Princess Ivy, feeling worried.

"My mother knew about us. I told her and she did not know about my father's plan. So, she is just quiet."

Knowing her boyfriend had set up with another woman by his father, made Princess Ivy sad. She thought about running with him, but it was just the thought that was nonsense. 

"Are you rejecting her, Mason? I... Do not want you to leave me for her!"

Prince Mason nodded his head. "I am. I rejected her for you and I will not leave you, Ivy."

Unfortunately, Prince Mason didn't tell her that he didn't yet tell his father about the rejection. He just told her about the rejection he said to that woman.

"Promise me, Mason?" She asked while she gave her pinky swear to him.

"I promise."

Even though Prince Mason can't give any promise to her, he will make his best to keep his words until he can.
