Johan and Walter were still fighting on the battlefield. At the moment, they were catching some breath.

Johan sighed shakily. "Damn it! I hope Lucius and the others come soon. This battle is more difficult today," he said.

Walter nodded his head. "Even I can see it. It must be because some soldiers from the defensive lines were sent here to the frontlines. Since they aren't as experienced, that could bring some trouble," he said.

Johan raised his brow. "Still, they're only twelve," he said.

Walter nodded his head once again. "Yes, but... you're forgetting that I'm one of them, and I'm by your side, so you practically need to protect me and yourself," he said.

Johan looked at Walter for a few seconds before showing him a smile. "Don't worry, Walter! I'm going to protect you and myself! And don't you dare to think that you're a pushover, because you're not," he said.
