"Master, are you still thinking about... Shi Xiaoqing?" Roselia asked. She lowered her head, not wanting to look at Master Yang Zhang's reluctant eyes. He seemed to be in such a complicated mood.

"Well, I am," Yang Zhang said. "I still don't understand why Xiaoqing would leave without notice at all. She seems genuinely happy to stay on the farm with us."

"Why would she leave? I don't understand…." Yang Zhang said. He grabbed Roselia's chin and raised her head. Their eyes would meet. "Roselia, do you really not know about her departure?"

"W—Why did you ask, Master?" Roselia tried to dodge his eyes due to guilt.

"I don't know. I just have the feeling that you know…." Yang Zhang said. "You never rest. You don't need to rest, right?"

"I—I do need rest, Master…." Roselia replied. Which was a total lie because she never needed to rest. She just enjoyed rooting inside the earth to relax.
