Hearing Nicole calling out to him, Connor was surprised.

He turned to look at Nicole and asked, puzzled, "Yes?"

Nicole bit her lip and looked at Connor. She seemed very shy and did not say anything.

"Are you afraid of being alone, so you want me to stay with you?" Connor probed again.

"I've already texted my best friend on Messenger. She'll be here in a while…" Nicole said.

"That's good. I was a little worried that your leg was injured. It would be inconvenient for you to ne here alone. I'm relieved you have a friend to take care of you…" Connor said with a smile.

"Yeah…" Nicole nodded.
