Pants echoed from the screen as Gideon and Vale's figures could be seen.

Both of them were in very sorry states, battered and bruised. Their Astral Avatars were nowhere to be seen, their various forms had faded to reveal their bloodied figures in full.

Vale leaned on his sword as he panted while Gideon leaned against his knees. Both of their hair and eyes barely had any luster left as their energy had completely tanked.

'Ugh, I was wrong to think this would end in ten minutes.' Gideon thought as he looked at Vale, who was also looking at him.

They had gone at it for a while.

Blow for blow, they went, for nearly an hour. Even after their armour broke and their energy was drained, they did not stop.

It was only after all their exhaustion caught up to them that they finally paused, both needing a moment to take a breath.
