Capítulo 12: Chapter 12: Assassin Vs Fishman’s
~Third POV~
Fighting was happening around as a group of Fishman was around playing around as if it was nothing at all to them. The Fishman are busy practicing their Fishman Karate as they talked a good old time.
While Tatsumi managed to see what the group of Fishman was doing he noticed they were talking as he listens to their conversation, "Hey! You guys perfecting your Fishman Karate yet? We have to get back to the captain for our job well done!!"
Listening to the conversation Tatsumi heard enough as the group of Fishman in front of him were the ones responsible for the destroyed village that his friends were at as he closely listens to them.
As they all have their backs turned Tatsumi slowly gets closer to the group as he already has his sword out in the open as he goes around sneaking quietly as he gets closer to the group. The group was unaware of what was happening as they calmly talked to each other.
Each step they took throughout the forest soon lead them deep inside the forest of one of the islands in Conomi Islands as they laughed with one of them speaking, "Hahaha! Come on guys we should celebrate more often. With these puny humans being weak and all it was easy as well as those pirates we killed!"
Grabbing Tatsumi's attention another member of the Fishman soon talked out loud as if what they did was a big accomplishment as he talked, "Yeah mate! I mean those Trump Pirates were thinking of looting on our turf! Bastards they are and more stupid as they are human! HA! Should've seen the look on his face as we drag his mates and ship in the sea! The looks were good to see!"
Another then contributed to the conversation as he was punching the air recalling his adventure with ease, "Of course those human pirates are weaklings! We are the superior race after all shame that Logia bitch escaped. She would've been perfect for targeting practice in bed! HA!"
That got the laugh of the group as they would never mix their blood with humans because of their natural beliefs and laws.
Tatsumi cursed in his mind that the Fishman failed to kill the logia user as the thoughts of getting a devil fruit were down the drain now.
It was all in a good laugh as Tatsumi kept on listening not letting his emotions get the better of him as they continued to talk in peace, "Sure, sure mate. Say did you hear that Nami bitch that Arlong keeps around like a pet? I hear that she has her room with maps of the East Blue the boss says? Think he'll keep her around for her talent's guys? I mean ain't she like 16 or something?"
Now that got his attention realizing what time they are in as Tatsumi remembers some things that are important as he thinks to himself, '16 years old? Then that means we're exactly 2 years before canon happens since Nami's debut at the age of 18. Then I can't expect the strawhats to be here. Shame I could've used them as examples for Ruby's growth sigh…'
Shaking his head, he had enough of them but will keep one alive for him to interrogate as the Fishman pirates kept on going as one of them was left behind following the group. Taking out a dagger-based knife used by using the remains of a Marg Panther Cub teeth but sharpen enough to hurt.
*Swoosh*
Taking his action in a swift motion while making the quietest steps the Fishman from behind was taken by surprise as he was caught off guard from Tatsumi's strength with it boosted by the [Aura].
*Splat*
Before the Fishman could respond a quick stab into his mouth upward as it pierced the skull protecting the brain as blood could be seen as his eyes turned white blank from the sudden attack.
As the Fishman pirate was dying, he looked at Tatsumi's eyes as he saw his eyes were devoid of emotions as he responded to him, "Sorry… but I need only one alive. I don't need any witnesses around. You can only blame yourself for being arrogant. But you will be useful as a distraction."
*Swoosh*
*Splat*
With one quick swift from the Marg Knife Tooth through the throat shutting him off with blood fueling his lungs as he then drowns in his blood as that Fishman died. With the scent of death in the air, Tatsumi threw the body away as he quickly hid in the trees waiting for another chance.
The Fishman took notice as one of their men was gone as they backtracked to find him as they look for their friend, "Hey! Where are ya, buddy! We need – OH FUCK!"
The sound of concern soon got the other Fishman's attentions as they soon see the corpse of their friend as he was assassinated as the others were shocked at this.
Tatsumi seeing that they were caught up in their scene soon brought out thin wires as he loops them around till it looked like a noose. Just as the Fishman pirates were distracted with Tatsumi quickly lowered down on one of them in a state of shock.
Before the noose could get around the Fishman's neck they soon reacted to their emotions seeing their fellow breather killed like an animal, "Ragh!!! Who would dare do this to us the superior race – AHHHH!!"
*SWOOSH*
*Snap*
Before the one could finish his words the one that had the noose around his neck was soon lifted as Tatsumi pulled with all of his strength getting the Fishman into the air through pure force. But by the force of the Fishman's neck getting snap from the ascent above was enough to kill him.
*Thud*
Dropping the dead body the other Fishman started to get fearful as they quickly surrounded each other's backs as one of them responded, "Shit! Shit!! SHIT!! Quickly men we stay our ground or else the fucker is killing us all one by one! Keep your eyes everywhere!"
Now getting serious Tatsumi narrowed his eyes trying to see an opening from the trees above them as he thinks to himself in a serious tone, 'From the looks of things they have their guard up. Getting near them is bad unless…'
Taking a glance at his short sword he quickly grabbed it as he was pinpointing at them and then threw it at one of them at the head. But that went noticed by the Fishman as he caught the sword as he spoke, "I caught the sword! Quick his Bleag!!"
*Swoosh*
*Splat*
Before he could respond Tatsumi fell as he threw his sword as he had his dagger stab straight into that Fishman head going through the skull into the brain easily killing him off as the last two were left with shock.
Just as that Fishman died also let go of Tatsumi's sword in the air as he grabbed it as he quickly swung his sword around while getting the Fishman's attention as they saw the danger and moved away from the strike to the neck.
Tatsumi getting some distance away from the two one Fishman began to speak with clear furry in his voice, "You damn Human… You killed Buddy, Yah, and – "
*Splat*
Quickly dashing towards the Fishman the other one blocked it with his fist as Tatsumi tried to go for the head of the one talking as Tatsumi responded in a cold tone, "I don't care. You're in my way. Now die."
Using the [Aura] to boost himself further of his strength the Fishman that tried to block with his fist soon got his hand clean off the limb only leaving a stub as he clenched his stub in pain of his missing. While the other Fishman was holding his stub in pain the sword reached the other one intending target piercing through his eye and skull into the brain getting the kill.
*Bam*
While the last one was wailing in pain, he was suddenly kicked at the head that made him roll in the direction where Tatsumi kicked him using [Aura] as he spoke to himself surprised while examining his hand in the process, "I didn't know this aura stuff was this damn useful. Then again though Ruby did destroy that giant robot with her semblance and weapon. Maybe I'm underestimating how useful this [Aura] stuff is. No matter. Hey Fishman, I have questions I need answers to."
That brought a hateful laugh out of the one on the floor as he mocks the human Tatsumi in front of him as he spoke, "Hahaha… your pitiful human… do you think I'll talk after you butchering my friends. My brothers. You must be insane if I would ever help you."
Tatsumi for his part nodded his head in agreement as he got closer to the Fishman as he brandishes his swords towards the injured Fishman as he spoke calmly, "You know… you aren't the first I had to torture information out of you know? When people raided my home more often than not and when they get captured when they don't tell me stuff…"
The sword of Tatsumi was leading ever closer to the Fishman's face as blood began to drip down as he pushes more force enough to bleed the injured man as he spoke, "I get them out of them one way or another. I hate unknowns that messes with my life as well as those that get in my way. But sure, Fishman we can play this game of patience…"
The sword then began to dip deeper to his face as Tatsumi began to speak to him as the Fishman tries to hold his tears of pain while Tatsumi innocently expressed to him, "After all we have plenty of time of the world before you sing little fishy. Now then how about answering some of my questions ok?"
This went on for a whole 30 minutes of Akame ga Kill style torture before the Fishman told Tatsumi everything about what he wanted to know as well as silencing him as he hid the bodies as he continues to walk away as he grins, "Ok so the 16th branch of the marine bases is a few miles from here. Time to see what I can get from them in the process?"
