The sunlight filtering through the window woke Dahlia from her sleep. However, the moment she tried to sit up, she found out that she couldn't and it was all because a certain weight was pressing her down.
"W-what?" She groaned in confusion.
Dahlia turned around to see what or rather who was holding down only for her gaze to connect with silver ones and her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. The memories of the night began to return and that was when it dawned on Dahlia that she was back in the kingdom of Acadia, this was no dream. Damn.
"You scared me," Dahlia said slowly, looking at Romulus unsure. He had not taken his gaze off her and was staring at her intently which was kind of creepy.
He looked like a predator about to tear her apart and if Dahlia didn't know him better, she would be running for her life right now.
