Sweat formed on Lucy's forehead as she continued scanning the memory of the rat-eared man.

Soul search was a spell that has strict requirements on someone's soul strength. To conduct a soul search, one's soul strength must be higher to the target's soul strength. If such condition wasn't meet, the caster would for certain, suffer a backlash.
