Li Miaomiao walked into the study with a tray of fruit and found her husband, Xu Jingming, lost in thought in front of a blank projection screen.

"Miaomiao," he said, turning to her.

"What's wrong?" she asked, concerned.

"Grandpa and our parents are in their 2,900s," Xu Jingming said. "Most of them don't have much time left."

"What do you plan to do?" she asked.

Other than Mr. Xu, who was quite talented on the evolutionary path and had reached Lv. 8 with the help of the Evolutionary Guide, the other elders were ordinary cosmic lifeforms.

"Extend their lifespans, of course," he replied. "It's my duty to do so."

But Li Miaomiao was worried. "The free service to extend life by becoming an Origin lifeform is only offered to great scholars with a Lv. 100 educational level or those with special reasons…"
