Capítulo 12: Chapter 12: Elia Martell part 1

(1,200 words)

- Percival Bolton POV -

- Dreadfort - The North - Westeros - 275 A.D -

The Maester was a 35 year old man with brown hair and a tired face, despite his relatively young age. He was a Maester who was expelled from The Citadel after experimenting on human corpses. By nothing more than luck my men found him in The North, a shabby inn they were passing by where the guy was looking for work to later travel to Essos. But luckily I found him, and he helped me in alchemy. I was extremely grateful for giving him a chance, plus the chance to access new knowledge. We also studied a little necromancy, but something simple.

Why did I trust him, to a certain extent? Because I knew his loyalty first hand from seeing him on the show. Despite facing White Walkers, or Daenerys' dragons, he always followed his queen, even if it meant death. That's only because it gave him a chance, as well as possibilities to study and learn new knowledge. This man's name, was Qyburn.

"We are ready, My Lord" the former Maester said to me, to which I nodded, and we began our journey.

- Casterly Rock - Westerlands - Westeros - 275 A.D. -

The journey was not very long, not more than a month. I had departed at Dreadfort of The North, and then traveled through the Riverlands, where I had done my tutoring. Finally, I had reached my goal, Casterly Rock, the capital of the Westerlands. Lands ruled by Lannister House.

My main goal is really Lannisport, where I plan to train for a year Blood Magic. Who would I train with? Well, with the only witch who doesn't belong to the cult of Rhollor that was shown in the series. That's good old Maggy, who gave that prophecy to Cersei Lannister. The one that said she would be queen, but that she would be replaced by a younger and more beautiful queen. Also that her children would die. Although I doubt that the prophecy is the same with me here. I really don't know how that magic works.

"It's a beautiful city," Qyburn said beside me with a curious smile.

"It is. We'll visit it and then go to Lannisport, where we'll settle down for a years" I said, to which he nodded. "I'll give you money and you'll set up your lab. We should have no problem with bringing test subjects to the place, and that place is rumored to have a witch. We can get lucky and learn from her," I told him, and his smile grew wider.

"So shall it be done, my lord," he replied.

"Take charge of taking an inn and paying some whores to our soldiers" I told Lisa, and the girl nodded as she took care of her chores, besides taking care of Copper. Silver accompanied her to protect her along with the other soldiers and Qyburn. I wanted a moment alone to explore the town. This wasn't an ugly town like those in The North, or a castle like Riverrun as found in Disneyland. This was a real medieval town.

- Elia Martell POV -

"Hahahahaha, don't remind me please" I said as I tried to hold in my laughter. Oberyn was once again making fun of Baelor Hightower, one of my suitors. Whom he had nicknamed Baelor Breakwind.

Why was he looking for suitors? Well, obviously it was because I was getting married. I was already nineteen, which is a rather old age for marriage, but since I was still a virgin, there shouldn't be any problem.

My skin is brown with brown eyes and brown hair. I have rather fine ranks and an exotic style worthy of Dorne. I'm not the most beautiful woman in Westeros, but I like to think I'm quite pretty. So I have quite a few options to choose from, and out of everyone, Baelor Hightower seemed like the best choice. That is until he farted in the middle of a Meeting, and Oberyn gave him a nickname. From that moment on, Baelor caused me nothing but laughter.

"Hehehehe, I can't let a fart marry my little sister" Oberyn commented with a smirk. He was my little brother by two years, but he had more of a big brother role in a way. Since with Doran he didn't interact as much, being the heir, he was busy with other matters.

"Do you think we'll have any luck with the Lannisters?" I asked my brother. We were both riding in a carriage so no one could hear us, or so I think.

"I don't know. I don't like them much, but maybe. I think our mother had an agreement with Lady Joanna Lannister to marry one of us to one of her children, Jaime or Cersei. But I don't know if with her passing the agreement is still valid" he told me as he became a little more serious.

"I suppose so" I replied, and in a way he was right.

We both, along with our mother, finally arrived at the main fortress of Casterly Rock, and met the dreaded Tywin Lannister. Who in addition to Lord of House Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock, Warden of the West and Lord Paramount of Westerlands, was Hand of the King, the second most feared person in the world.

But the meeting was not so pleasant, because Lord Tywin refused to form a compromise involving Jaime or Cersei Lannister, offering his son Tyrion, who was a dwarf. So my mother took it as an insult and all negotiations broke down.

The truth is that I was a little sad.... All the girls in Dorne have already had their first times, along with all kinds of sexual experiences. My brother Oberyn the first, but I have to keep waiting....

But I think I must be patient and not rush things, as virginity is only less valuable than family when it comes to making a betrothal between houses. House Martell, like the Lords of Dorne was quite a respected name. We are the only ones who were never conquered by the Targaryen, we always ended up with the invaders and their dragons. But we were "bought" with a pledge and a crown, so we ended up joining Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. But that still makes us better than the rest of the houses.

Even The North, who survived the Andals and Rhyonar fell to the Targaryens. We do not deserve to be faulted in this way by offering me a dwarf. Nothing can be done... I will have to keep looking.

I was now traveling inside the carriage to back to a luxury inn where we were to stay, the best in the city. Which is saying a lot for the capital of the richest house, but still not much for another of the great houses. Lord Tywin had offered us to stay in his guest rooms, but mother was still upset so she declined the invitation.

But as I opened the window to get some air, I saw a figure that stood out above the rest. Pale, white skin, long, straight black hair, along with dark and captivating eyes. That plus his neat, fine, refined face and complexion... He was beautiful.
