Capítulo 71: Chapter 71: Money problem
The next day, Seiya immediately arrived at the park and met with the suppliers and other service providers.
At the start of the battle, they thought that Seiya was just a high schooler who won't pose any threat to them but unfortunately for them, Seiya came prepared.
When Seiya showed them the proofs of their biased deals with competitors, they immediately ran away with tails between their legs. Not only did they extend the deadline for the pay but also gave various discounts for causing the trouble.
Isuzu wanted to shoot them but Seiya stopped the girl.
Seiya knew a little bit of hacking but he guessed that he had to contract Itaru Hashida aka Daru officially. Although he was just a programmer from outside, Seiya knew that he is a pro hacker secretly.
Plus, his mind-reading magic came in handy too.
If he has to corner those competitors one and for all, he needs to play dirty at some point.
"Sir, I am impressed how you handled them. There were so disgusting to have that kind of approach." Ashe, the chief accountant said walking behind Seiya.
"Well, competitors always use this kind of play. I have seen people committing more horrendous crimes for the sake of just some money."
He was a lawyer and had defended these kinds of people so he knows to which length desperate people would go.
Seiya then notice that Isuzu was very quiet for some. She was not much of a talker but she always ask anything that she might not understand.
"It's just… never mind…" Isuzu looked a little tense.
"So you want me to wait here since I am not taking a single step if you keep acting like that?" Seiya folded his arms.
"I… I don't get it."
"Don't get what?"
"How did Hamon become so irreverent in the later part of the story? Lord Joseph should have been stronger than anyone else… I mean, Stands are powerful but Hamon could have been used too."
Seiya smacked his head.
'Beats me. How should I tell you that Stands are more demanding than cliché sun energy?' Seiya thought.
For a couple of days, he explained the Jojo story to Isuzu to make her more talkative but she turned out to be a complete normie and lost some brain cells instead of trying to figure out the fictional story.
"Hamon? What is that?"
Seiya ignored Ashe and walked towards Isuzu. He gently pressed her cheeks with both of his hands, lifted her head, and looked into her eyes.
"Listen Isuzu-chan, there is something called abyss in fictional stories. If you look into the abyss, the abyss will look into you and before you knew it, you will lose track of time and then fall in the pit."
"…wut?"
"Just ignore the minor details and just learn from the characters of the story." Seiya smiled while Isuzu nodded. They then walked away, leaving the confused blond-haired girl behind.
"What the hell just happened…?" Ashe shook her head and also followed them.

Seiya was in the castle room sitting on the sofa along with Latifa beside him. Isuzu and Ashe were also there sorting out the documents and explaining their contents.
Seiya was reading various reports that Isuzu collected from every attraction of the park. Those were complaints and problems of the denizens of the park.
He noticed that park was in critical need to replace new equipment. Because of the tight budget, old instruments were already shabby.
Some old plants were also needed to be replaced or repaired like underground water pumps.
And worst of all.
"Ashe, why the hell are salaries showing unpaid status?" Seiya glared at Ashe.
"It's just… because of low funds, I had to delay their pays," Ashe spoke with a stutter.
"Are you kidding me? This should be your priority. They also have their needs too. They are the backbone of this park. Do you think they will put their heart of their work when they weren't even paid a penny for their work?!" Seiya was pissed.
He loathes these kinds of organizations that delay the payment of their employees. The cost of living in Japan is high. Rent, living expenses, and then traveling expenses, these things in Japan are hardly bearable let alone working without pay.
He overlooked this part of the accounts by assuming that it was already the mid of the month as employees were paid at the start of the month.
"But sir bank interests and other expenses for outsourcing have to be paid first. If not, they would sue us or demand bankruptcy…!"
"To hell with them! They would do that if the park survives the deadline. And do you really think they could immediately get a sealing warrant for the park?"
"I-I am sorry!" Ashe was flustered. She knew that she committed another blunder. Her action could have been justified if the park has clear long-term life.
"Make their salaries and immediately pay them. Also, promise the 50% bonus at the end of this month." Seiya ordered and sighed.
He then felt a chill on his cheek and saw Latifa holding a can of fresh mango juice.
Seiya then smiled and took the can.
All three women were surprised to see Seiya angry like that. Usually, he always remained level-headed no matter what the situation was but seeing him, concerned about the employees raised their respect for him.
"I will do as you say, sir." Ashe nodded then added, "But still, we still need immediate 10 million yen for the free renovation of the park as well as the repair of land where your next concert was being held."
"I have a way…" Seiya said and took out his phone. He was about to transfer the money when Latifa stopped him.
"Seiya-sama, I won't let you waste a single penny from your own pocket. You have already incurred more than 2 million yen from your pocket but I won't let you do as you please." Latifa gazed at Seiya.
She might be his lover but she wants to be the one who would support him not to be nurtured on his money. Seiya was supposed to earn something, not spend his own money in this park.
"But Latifa, there isn't any choice. Besides, it's just a few million. I can make that money anytime."
"Throwing money like that will make me look like I am a gold digger."
"You are not?" Seiya jokingly asked.
Latifa twitched and then smiled.
"I am but my gold is you, Seiya-sama."
"Oh, my blond loli princess~."
Seiya was moved into tears and they were about to kiss when Isuzu coughed holding muskets in both of her hands.
"Cough* So you have some kind of alternative?" Seiya asked.
"Yes, I have decided to sell the 20% Amagi shares."
Ashe and Isuzu jumped from their seats.
"Wait, princess! You can't sell the lifeline of the park."
"Yes, we will lose the management to the third person."
They weren't the only ones shocked.
"Hold on a second, this park has stocks?"
"Yes, at that of the early 80s, this park used to make tons of money. Director of that time proposed to commercialize this park and converted the assets into shares."
Latifa then started to explain.
It was then Maple Estate formed Amagi Entertainment. Although it was supposed to be a public company, only Maple Estate owned all the shares to avoid any conflict with Humans.
However, they still had to offer humans something to avoid suspicions so 15% shares were sold to another company and the group was formed.
"Amagi Development Project?"
"That's right. However, after the decline of the park, we continued to lose shares and I am only left with 45% of shares. I am sorry…" Latifa turned her head down but then felt a soft palm on her head and saw Seiya smiling at her.
"It is still astonishing that you were even able to defend this much." Seiya smiled and then they discussed the price of shares.
Seiya thought he better brought these shares as the prices were low. In the end, he brought the shares for 60 million yen.
Although the price may seem a little high, he knew that even 1% would cost him at least a billion. Amagi Development Project could be the reason for the low cost of stocks. Even if the park is a lost cause, the land area alone was high enough to be evaluated in billions.
After the money was transferred Ashe and Isuzu left to allot the money.
Seiya was also about to leave but Latifa stopped him. She then asked him to follow her.
"Seiya-sama, can you play a bow as a harp?" Latifa asked.
"…what?"
"Hehe, it is time to give you dowry."
