Capítulo 9: -9-

SMACK!!!

Now Sasa slapped Dinda, she fell down because Sasa struck her harder than Giselle. Dinda even suffered from blurry vision caused by such violent concussion.

"Shut your trap, you insolent son of a bitch!"

"What the hell!? The fuck are you nutjobs doing!?"

Rendra ran toward them. He saw Dinda stunned and lying on the floor.

"None of your business, Rendra! You usually don't care about whatever we are doing!"

"Well not this time, Sasa. I'm just curious to see who you bully in a place like this. Quite the ruthless slut aren't you?" Rendra said. He wanted to know who was in the center of this commotion. Rendra nodded while staring at Dinda.

"Dude! Your hardcore fans are beating up somebody!" Rendra shouted. He knew that Nathan was within earshot.

Nathan stopped walking and looked at the commotion nonchalantly. Rendra remained in place even though he wanted to go somewhere else, he actually didn't care who was Sasa and Giselle's punching bag today. Still, he yelled anything that would draw Nathan's attention to the crime scene.

"What?" Nathan asked as he approached the ongoing ruckus. He looked around for a moment and then fixed his eyes on Dinda, who was lying helplessly on the floor.

"Chill out, Nathan. You have never cared about whatever we were doing. Shoo!" Sasa became agitated as Rendra and Nathan approached.

"You know the rules, right?" Nathan sharply warned them. Sasa took a step back as fear overcame her. "Whoever receives my mark, shall not be marked by any other pillar. Are you challenging me?" As he assumed a domineering presence over them.

"But, can't you see how impudent she was? Nathan, I just—"

"Dismissed!"

Sasa and Giselle along with their lackeys left the scene. Nathan immediately carried Dinda, who had lost consciousness. He glanced at Rendra then smiled a little.

"You have my gratitude."

"Don't cost me my 10 million, you bastard!" Rendra immediately left as Nathan headed to the infirmary.

Dinda slowly opened her eyes as her pain in the corner of her lips started to set in. Her vision was still very blurred. She saw a figure bend over to look at her closer. As he bent over, she saw the figure's face from a really close distance. She could make out how that thick hair looked, how that pointy nose looked, how that bold eyebrow looked, how that plump lips looked.

Dinda tried to move her limbs, it made that figure look relieved.

"Are you awake?" He asked. That figure was Nathan. Dinda could not remember since when that boy was there?

Dinda tried to sit on the bed because she felt really uncomfortable lying down and being cared for by a boy. Especially by Nathan.

"Where am I?" Dinda asked.

Nathan smiled while looking around at an infirmary that looked exactly like a VIP room of a world-class hospital.

"You are in the infirmary. You went out cold."

"What time is it?" Dinda seemed to be panicked, as this is the time for her to give the children an after school lesson.

"Four."

"Huh!?" Dinda sat straight up and tried to leave the school immediately." I need to go home."

"It's raining." Nathan warned. Dinda sighed because that means she was trapped with Nathan for some time later. "You want to go home now? Nathan asked. As if he was asking Dinda's permission. "We got an umbrella that we can share."

Dinda rolled her head as she hugged herself. "I'm good, you go home first." Dinda said.

Nathan smiled. Not even a thank came out of that girl's bloody luscious lips.

"Are you sure you want to stay here? Sun is setting in a moment and there's an old graveyard behind this school. On top of that, this school was built on—"

"Silence!" Dinda was angry. Why would Nathan tell a horror story when thunder was raging out there.

Nathan laughed at Dinda. The unyielding student turned out to be a scaredy cat in the face of a mysterious story. "I thought you were afraid of nothing. Turns out that even ghosts can curl you up real good!"

Dinda rolled her head away from Nathan and hid under the blanket that covered half of her body.

"So, you really want to be left alone here?" Nathan got up from his seat then picked up his bag and umbrella. Dinda still remained in place. "Let me tell you something. Rain this hard won't stop in minutes. It would probably take two to three hours before it subsided. It is unlikely for you to stay here, and even less likely to stay here with me for the night, right?" Nathan said.

Dinda got off the bed immediately and picked up her bag. She followed Nathan closely.

The rain was really pouring down as if it wanted to submerge the whole town. Lightning struck the earth with a thunderous noise that caused Dinda to subconsciously hold on to Nathan's jacket tightly.

Nathan stopped as Dinda followed him from a distance. That girl is half drenched now.

"Wear this, it's freezing out here." He removed his jacket and used it to cover her body. She didn't verbally answer but she does accept and wear it.

Nathan pulled Dinda's hands to the point where her entire body was enclosed in his arms. Nathan stared at Dinda's face, observing every inch of skin she had on her face.
