Capítulo 171: Missed calls

Cameron went to cook for me as I stayed on the sofa, I took advantage of the time alone to finally turn on my phone and check the last messages and missed calls. 

Just as I predicted there were more than 10 missed calls from Carl and two messages left in voicemail.

"I am going to the bathroom," I screamed aloud so that Cameron would get in there, and then when I was alone I contemplated whether it was a good idea or not to listen to the messages. After a few minutes of thinking, I gave up on the idea of listening to the old stereo of his voice probably throwing at me all his fake excuses and telling me how sorry he was. I took a deep breath and rolled my eyes just at the thought, then I finally listened to the voicemails.

"Hi Lily, I am leaving you this message because I got a police restriction on you, your boyfriend had reported me to the police and had even threatened me. I need an answer. We can make it Lily. We can start over you just have to trust ..."
