Capítulo 16: Chapter 14 : The Great mana wave begins
"Focus, imagine your mana is solid."
Fujiwara gave a powerful kick to Miles throwing him away, Miles holding a knife fell on his feet.
He exhaled and took a fighting stance while staring at Fujiwara who was casually standing in front of him without any weapons in his hands.
A light white and uniform aura enveloped Miles and he concentrated on the knife in his hand, he took a deep breath and with one step forward, he ran at full speed towards Fujiwara.
He arrived in two seconds in front of Fujiwara and with the back of his hand tried to stab him in the thigh with his knife, but before the knife touched Fujiwara's leg, Miles saw Fujiwara's fist a few inches from his face.
*Pow*
Miles felt a pain in his cheek as he was thrown backwards onto the ground for several yards.
"Not bad kid, you managed to harden your mana at the last moment, you really have a natural talent at controlling mana."
*Spurt*
Miles spat out a mixture of blood and saliva as he slowly got up from the ground while staring calmly at Fjujiwara.
"Your progress is amazing, but you're still missing something crucial if you want to defeat me."
Fujiwara suddenly disappeared from his sight and he felt a cold hand tighten around his neck making his heart miss a beat.
"The intent to kill."
Those simple words whispered in his right ear were spoken with such coldness that Miles' whole being froze for a brief moment, perhaps it was the special skill he possessed, perhaps it was the last few weeks of training he had undergone.
"Attack!"
Miles quickly came to his senses and with a movement turned around and tried to stab Fujiwara behind him, but Fujiwara easily lifted him by the throat with ease before throwing him down like a common sandbag.
Fujiwara then stared at Miles as he rose from the ground, his body covered in wounds, dust, and blood, with a slight sense of satisfaction that he hadn't felt in a long time.
"Anna would surely love him."
Miles saw a slight smile appear on Fujiwara's lips and felt chills go down his spine.
"What kind of torture is this bastard thinking?"
Fujiwara quickly regained his cold face and turned around as he walked towards the camp.
"We are stopping training early today."
Miles hearing this was so surprised that his mouth remained wide open, stunned at these words.
Usually even after training he forced him to walk more than three times around the camp, he was only allowed to stop if he fainted.
"Has this demon finally found a decent soul to replace his putrid heart?"
"Hurry up, you have laundry duty today."
Miles heard the word "laundry", he felt like spitting out a mouthful of blood.
"I knew it, that son of a bitch is heartless, motherfucker, I'm gonna kill you someday!"

"I'm going to gut you for a day, I'm going to cut you into little pieces and eat you with wine..."
"Miles is energetic today."
Tae-Wook saw Miles giving off a dark aura as he hand washed a pile of clothes while mumbling in a low voice and couldn't help but smile.
"I would say more like he has homicidal impulses."
Aron cut out several ingredients and answer to Tae-Wook's words while Fujiwara was lying cross-legged on a chair next to the fire while drinking a bottle of wine.
"Where the fuck do you get all that wine from? What son of a bitch is selling luxury wine in such a place?"
Tae-Wook with eyes filled with indignation seeing Fujiwara drinking a bottle of wine gritted his teeth.
"Yuan Shi corporation, this is shark sells all the necessities of the camp."
"This is the company of this Gu Zexian fucker right? I should have known when I saw the prices, that bastard would even sell his mother for a little profit."
Tae-Wook hearing the name "Yuan Shi" pronounced by Aron could not help but clench his teeth as if he had just remembered something horrible.
"Haha are you still holding a grudge for the time he ripped you off for the Yunnan portal deal? Haha your face when you realized that you rented C rank portals at the price of A rank hahaha I can't take it anymore."
"Shut up, you were just as pissed off as I was that day!!!"
Tae-Wook exclaimed clenching his fists while looking at Fujiwara with hatred.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
Miles, who was listening to Fujiwara and Tae-Wook's conversation in the distance, heard a series of explosive noises before he felt a powerful force hit him and overturn the bathtub in which he was washing clothes while a violent wind swept his short white hair.
The whole camp was immediately alerted, the color of the sky began to vibrate progressively to red before taking an extremely pure black tint, the cracks widening again and again covering all the visible horizon.
The density of mana in the area increased to an alarming level reaching such a terrifying amount that it became completely visible and almost palpable.
The next second the whole noisy camp became silent, everyone became tense while in the distance a dark rain fell from the sky for hundreds of miles, a demon rain.
"The portals are open! The Great mana wave begins! Get ready to fight!!!"
