A giant my size, standing around 20 metres tall. The only way to describe him was that he looked like a demon.
Bright blue sharp eyes with no pupils, red crimson horns on his black head, and an armour that looks like a metallic crimson ribcage with a bright yellow aura.
I do have to admit that he looked really cool, especially with that aura.
But that's not the time for it. I prepared my arrow to shoot him before I heard him say it in a deep, resonating voice.
"How do you have an aura, human?" he said.
I was surprised by this and retracted my arrow. Never have I thought dungeon monsters could talk. I thought they were just dumb, strong creatures.
"What do you mean?" I replied back to him.
"Auras are only achievable by those whose power exceeds their physical body, manifesting themselves in the physical realm. You're the first human I have seen to own an aura. For that, you have my respect." He said
"You too, have my respect." I replied back in a cool, deep voice, while trying to study him.
Although I was also surprised that he also had an aura, albeit an actual one. I think auras bought from the [Cosmetic Shop] and actual auras do look the same.
"Before we fight, it'd be very preferable if we were to fight outside." he told me.
I don't mind fighting outside at all; this pyramid is too dark for me to see anything, and I might die if I fall down there.
"Do as you like." I said, still in that cool-looking voice and demeanor.
He jumped from his throne to the door outside. Fortunately, the cooldown period had ended for [Teleport] on that talk, or I would have been embarrassed.
"I am Perseo, I was the ruler of the demon continent, Xenia." he told me, with his giant blades on his hands.
"I'm Dendi, the king of Earth." It was so sudden that I had no idea what to say and said utter non-sense.
"It's an honour to fight you." He told me this before getting into a stance.
He charged at me with his blades, activating my [Borrowed Time]. Luckily, I got a shot at him.

Darn, that's a lot of damage. I did 1000 damage from skill and 100 damage from my attack damage.
I saw him activate [Orb of Destruction] judging from the appearance of red and blue particles around his hands.
Giving him no time to shoot them, I manually activated [Reaper Scythe], while shooting him in the process.

I had 7 seconds left of borrowed time, so I kept on shooting him while he seemingly tried to attack me. Luckily, two [Reaper Scythe] were triggered at that time.

My borrowed time ended and I immediately used [Refresher Orb], refreshing the cooldown and allowing me to use [Borrowed Time] and [Reaper Scythe] again.
I shot him and he shot me his giant laser, seemingly evaporating everything it touches, luckily my [Borrowed Time] kept me safe.

I went to the same alley close to the Awakened Headquarters in Brooklyn and went inside.
It was strangely quiet today, with only one or two people at the cafe.
I went to the receptionist and told her I wanted to sell my cores.
I took the 100,000 gramme core out of my inventory and, boy, it was big. If the 10kg monster cores I bought before had the width of a hand, this one has a width similar to the size of a sheep, at around 4 metres in diameter.
The staff were surprised and asked me.
"Is this a monster core? We need to use a different scale because this one is too big. One of them told me
"Alright, sure." I replied.
They brought a bigger scale, and it weighed exactly 100 kg. How conventional.
Before they gave me a 100,000g Monster Core check, I told them that I had more.
"You have more? Are you kidding? " He asked me, quite surprised and slightly suspicious.
"No, look." I told them and brought out nine other cores.
Everyone in the room was surprised, some of them in a daze for minutes.
A minute later, the president came.
"Wow, that's a lot of cores, Dendi. Where did you get them? " Claire asked me
"Well, I can tell you that later." I told her
"No wonder you told me you were only available in the next 2 days yesterday. You were busy hunting crazy dungeons, huh?" She told me this, slightly in awe and in a joking manner.
"Haha yeah, something like that." I laughed it off.
After all the cores were scaled, I told them
"I still have one more."
I brought out a 1000 kg monster core out of nowhere. This one's the size of a truck and nearly touches the roof of the room.
I can hear shouts and hysteric shoutings everywhere, so I just put it back in my inventory.
"How did you do that? That thing came out of nowhere." Claire was the first to ask me
"I'll tell you later, but first let's focus on measuring the cores first." I replied.
"It's impossible to measure cores like this with weight. We have to bring in someone specialized. Luckily, we have one here, me." Claire told me
She then told me to take the core to a bigger room, and I saw her working on it.
She measured the radius of the round core and did some calculations. Perhaps she's measuring the weight based on volume.
After some calculating, she told me that it was 1,000,000 grams. That got me quite impressed with the precise calculation.
After I received my 2,000,000 g check, I went to the receptionist and exchanged it. I received $1,900,000 after the tax reduction. How sad. $100,000 is a lot of money.
However, I'm still happy as I just got a tonne of money for an hour's work. I was so excited and forgot that I couldn't just bring $1,900,000 in cash home; I'd get robbed.
Luckily, it was my birthday a few days ago. I celebrated it with my mom and ate at a restaurant. After that, I went to a bank and registered for my account.
I told the receptionist to send it to my account and I got $1,900,000 in it.
