Capítulo 98: Cat got the tongue

Clary froze, straining her ears to place the voice. It was achingly familiar, but from where? And then, a jolt of fear shot through her as she realized what the man had said. He called her a pervert! How did he know that it was a girl who was inside the bathroom?

Clary felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her as he brought up the subject of flushing the toilet due to its pungent odour. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the humiliation he inflicted on her. But was it really that bad? Clary took a quick sniff but couldn't detect any smell. 

Could it be the energy powder she took in the morning? Since morning, her dad, Wazzy, and Grannypie had been stuffing her with food and energy drinks, insisting that the energy powders added to her juices would give her the boost she needed to win the competition. Clary had argued with them not to believe the internet, but the oldies were persistent.
