James began to open his eyes slowly. Dizziness made him unable to move quickly. Nevertheless, he slowly pushed to see where he was now. He only remembered that he was coming to a church with Delilah. James turned his head slightly. He saw Delilah sleeping beside him by sitting with her head rested on her folded arms. James' smile rose slowly to see how Delilah cared for him faithfully.
His unhurt hand then stroked Delilah's hair gently. Delilah felt that someone was holding her head, and soon, she raised her head.
"Mr. J," murmured Delilah, slightly getting up from her place to check him. James kept staring at Delilah with his pale expression.
"Thank God your fever has gone, Mr. J. How are you feeling?" Delilah asked with a trace of anxiety. James smiled softly and nodded.
"Never been better. What happened?" James asked in a shallow tone.
