Capítulo 17: Capital

"Thank you so much for letting us stay," I chirped to Percy. My hands were clasped with Carlisle's as the man's vehement hate had still yet to ebb. I knew that it would stay there forever. The Aphelion name was practically beseeched in it. Yet, the Imperial Lion had perched itself in protection, no one could do anything. 

"You don't need to show gratitude," snapped Carlisle. I awkwardly laughed as I looked at the two of them. 

They looked like they wanted to talk. I decided to step out of the way. "I'll be waiting inside," I said as I pulled away from Carlisle. It was harder than I expected as if we were coiled together by thorns and vines, our bodies seemed to wish to stay. Once I did, I slipped inside the carriage. Carlisle's back was towards me, I couldn't see his face as Percy talked.
