Capítulo 36: Jeannie - Revelation

I had gotten up early to the sound of birds chirping outside the bedroom window. For several moments, I laid there and smiled and the wonderful sound. It was so different than my life in the city where sirens and car horns ruled. This was a life I had always wanted back. As a child, I couldn’t appreciate it like I did now. So many things are wasted on the young.

After a call to my husband to see how things were at home and telling him how much I missed him, I got dressed and then just spend some time sitting on the front porch. The peace around me was something I needed, along with a deep tissue massage and a vacation from everyone in my life. Yep, that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon which was shy I was enjoying what I could when I could.
