Capítulo 5: Never Want To Go Out
"Ugh..." Ariadna groan tiredly. "Milady!" She open her eyes and looks at the voice.
"Amy!" She exclaimed happily. "Milady, are you okay?" Amy, Ariadna Personal Maid ask worriedly. "Yea, I'm okay! Just have a worst nightmare!" Ariadna says with a pouted.
"Poor My Lady" Amy say and wipe Ariadna paled face with a wet towel.
"Where's Dad?" She asked.
"Are you missing the Duke?"
'No! I'm just weird because whenever I faint, he will always be the first person I see!'
"Yes!" Ariadna smile and exclaimed happily. Amy smile at her answer sweetly.
"The Duke has Noble Meeting but it's probably finished" She said.
I stare at the window and frozed. "Amy" "Yes, Milady?" Amy ask and looks at my face. "How many hours do I sleep?" I ask her.
The sky was a bit dark-orange. Its means right now is near night.
Amy rub her chin while thinking. "When Milady come here was about 5 hours ago but I don't know since when you start sleeping" She muttered to me.
"I come here?" I ask, start getting confused with her word.
"Yea-"
"ARIA, MY BABY" I hear a familiar voice and sigh in my mind.
"Dad!" I smile happily.
Ariadna Dad, Chris Ve Arcane, The Duke. At first when I come here, I thought the Duke was strict with Ariadna but it is otherwise.
He was very soft for Ariadna, different from what the novel said about him. The Duke was also famous because he is the youngest Duke ever and other than that is his appearance.
Silver platinum hair, the key points of Duchy Arcane, lilac eyes from his mother and was cold to everyone, except Ariadna ofc.
"Aria, My baby... Are you feeling well?" The Duke ask and sit at the beside me while gently pat my head.
"I'm feeling fine, Dad.." I said tiredly, ofc it's an acted.
"I was very worried when I hear your disappear last night.." He said with a sad smiled. I hold his hand and smile softly at him.
"I'm sorry... I was drunk" I say sadly.
"Baby, you shouldn't drunk... You was still on recovery" The Duke scold me but give me a little hand massage with his hands.
"I will not do that again" I say guiltily. He just smile and caress my cheek.
"Aria... I am not angry at you but please don't do that again. Luckily The Crown Prince is there to save you"
"Excuse me?" I quickly look at him with wide eyes but he just smile at me.
"The Crown Prince Assistant was the one who sent you here this morning. He say that it is His Highness command to bring you here safely" He say proudly.
I just smile at him but while sweating nervously.
"Hahaha, I see"
"And I want to meet His Highness so i can grant my gratitude in your stead" The Duke said.
"Da-Dad, you don't need to. His Highness have to do it because I keep bothering him" I say, trying to make excuse.
"Then let's go with me and thanked while apologies to His Highness" He say seriously.
I quickly paled.
'I don't want to use this trick but I had to!'
"Ugh"
"Aria! Are you okay?!" The Duke ask panickedly while Amy start wiping my sweating face.
"I feel nausea..." I muttered.
'It's half truth though because it seems I have a fever again'
"Call the doctor!!" The Duke shout at the maid outside. "Aria, it's okay. Take a deep breath" He say while massaging my hands.
"Dad... I never want to go out again.."
